When the root can not be uprooted (A musing on Causality)

Last night, I kicked my leg against a stone. I am grateful it wasn't a bucket that I kicked, if that was the case you'd only be reading this if ghosts were allowed to post on Hive.

Is there even a law against that? Afterall decentralization is often *(un)*truthfully spelt as __absolute freedom__ and as such could be the __causality__ of ghosts *'milkling'* with humans. But let's leave the tales on what decentralization can cause in my bucket list.

Decentralization; its facts and falsity, would surely be penned with my pen someday, perhaps when the pains on my left leg ceases.

Talking of my leg; need I tell you how much it hurts? Maybe I should, since I am obligated by nobility to complete what I started.

So it hurts and badly so. Infact as I'm writing this, a tingling sensation on the phalange of my left leg is reminding me of just how much pain our skins can clothe.

Our lips; when it spreads in a pretty manner, hides the goriness buried under our skins.__

__Now I have a problem.__

If you pinpoint the pain on my left leg as my problem you wouldn't be wrong, but you will be wrong to pinpoint it as the causality of my problem. The pain in itself is only a drop in an ocean when the whole picture is viewed.

__The main problem is the causality.__

why am I in pains?

_"Last night I kicked...."_

I performed the action that led to the pains I'm having.

__I; hurt me.__

This is quite disturbing to me, owing to the fact that I thought that I loved myself. And the other night I heard a relationship coach saying that if someone loves you, then the person can't hurt you.

She said;

__"That man that hurt you, doesn't love you"__

Now according to our coach, would that mean, _I; does not love me?_ (You're free to assume that I can't construct a simple sentence).

Now, if I can hurt myself without seeing myself as a devil, why view those that hurt me as devils?

Anyways some people are devils actually, I must acknowledge. Those who find pleasure in hurting others, devil is perhaps the most suitable metaphor for them.

But that's different from what I did to myself. I hurt myself no doubt, but I had no pleasure in doing that.

*__So even the people we love can hurt us, and we can hurt those we love, even when it will not be an orgasmic experience to us.__*

I will get some analgesics from a nearby pharmacy. At the administration of the painkiller, the pain would cease in a day or two.

__But is that even the solution?__

Yes but a temporary one. And I'll tell you why.

I will remain pain free, till the next time I hit myself against an obstacle or an obstacle hits itself against me. I just have to me more careful henceforth, but we can never be too careful. So the possibility of not getting hurt again is not guaranteed.

**I believe that if the causality of a problem is rightly tackled, then a lasting solution can be procured.**

__So what causes us to hurt ourselves, even when we don't want to?__

I should leave you to answer that for yourself.

But if I were to give an answer, I will say;

__It's because we are humans.__

In some context humanity is often used antonymously to flawlessness.

That humans are flawed isn't an assertion you'll be hearing for the first time and I can swear by the heavens that it won't be the last time, that's if you don't drop dead after reading this.

The very fact that we are humans(flawed) entails that we will sometimes do things we we don't want to do, and the very thing we love doing might be what we fail at, just as the humble sage, Apostle Paul lamented in one of his ecclesiological scripts.

Just like I want to go get some painkillers from the pharmacy to heal the pain on my phalange, when I get hurt by any means, I sought for healing and I move on.

Just to reduce the rate at which I get hurt, I should become more careful.

As for the causality; it's obvious that it can't be erased.

Some roots can't be uprooted.

__We are the root. We are The cause.__

Hmm my English Man 😃 this is so impressive and very qualified to be among the first articles I would read on Hive after a while.

I'm glad you didn't kick a bucket 😂 I'm not supposed to be laughing when I hear of death but you were kinda sounding funny there or not? 😬 Don't mind me sha

Causality is new word I've come across and I want to go with the way you explained it here on your post with so much illustrations. You're a teacher indeed 😉

Sorry about the pain in your leg, humans will surely find themselves hurting themselves but we can try to be careful if not too careful to stay healthy and without pain.

Most pain we experience in life are of our own making
Making good decisions and daily choices can positively affect the rate of pain we inflict on ourselves on daily basis
