Here we go again; I guess I'm just not meant to be happy."

Kevin O'Brian sat in his sad apartment, sitting at his window just staring at the streets below in his depressed state. If you saw this guy, no one would guess that he was depressed, he had always appeared to be a very happy person. He was always laughing and joking with anyone he had met, but deep down inside he was quite depressed and going through the process of dying inside. He had lost the will to do anything. His love life was bad, his family was bad and just everything in his life seemed to be falling apart. There was no way out of the situation he was in. He had nowhere to go. He had to deal with it. His life was depressing him and if he had not already been feeling down, he would have been too after what he had just heard. What he just heard was the final nail in the coffin of his life. That just finished him off mentally. He had come home to another fight with his mother. Once again it was about how he lived his life and he lived it the way he wanted to. Again today, he got into it with her. She had yelled at him for something, telling him she was sick of him living life the way he had been. He was sick of living life this depressed, as it only seems to happen when he is around his family. He was always a happy person in a good mood, which did not help him at all when he was around his family. His mother then yelled at him about how he was not happy at all and why did he have to sit around depressed all the time.

"This sucks! It sucks real bad!" Kevin thought to himself. "I wish I had a reason to live. I wish there was someone in my life that I had met. I never had time to meet someone and start dating. That would be great! I can't stand being around my family anymore. If I do not live with my family, how am I dealing with it! I don't know. I wish I made more money. They have all my favorite foods there. I would be better off if I had more things around that I liked. I am amazed at how much some things cost. It is crazy and depressing."

He then laughed at himself as he then saw two teenage girls that are walking around his neighborhood. He thought, "Seems like if I can't find a girlfriend that I can live with for a month, I might as well kill myself and get it over with.Able was depressed.

He mourned the loss of his wife, even after many years had past. The pain had never quite left him. He was a hardened man, but still he was depressed.

He opted to leave the roadhouse, seeking comfort in his home. He opened his front door and entered the cold and empty house. The freezing breeze the wind whipped up, filled with the smell of rain in the air.

He wandered through the house, taking in all the familiar sights and smells; all in a weekly routine he was used to. He walked into the bathroom and turned on the lights. Holding his breath; he unfastened his trousers.
