On our journey to Turkey yesterday we try some traditional drinks and food and we really liked it.

As my country share border with them all the food we try is not stranger to me and I have try it many times but not authentic.
Gotta say, yes, there is a difference. Yes, you will see the word #delicious many times.

* My new favorite soup **BRAIN soup**. We do eat brains in Bulgaria and even consider them as delicacy and with all rights! It may sound gross to you but it's unbelievable delicious. So I'm familiar but never have tried it as soup. Top choice 👌 
I can come back to #Edirne just because of that soup. Believe it or not.

* **LAHMACUN** , (looks like pizza) again I have tried it but mannnnn... big difference. Here the dough under was undesirable thin and crunchy , never have tried it properly apparently. Delicious.

* **ISKINDER**, first time for this one, friend of my recommended to me, it's basically simple - meat, bread pieces soaked inside (in), tomato sauce and another special sauce they put, it was like butter, yogurt on a side.
This was top choice too. Very, very delicious. If you r about to visit #Turkey and u eat meat don't miss that one for sure.

* **DÖNER** probably everyone has tested it. Very popular where I live  but served in a different way, more like all in a wrap. In Turkey they bring  all vegetables and sauce separate and meat and the bread separately and you mix it yourself.

* And finally the world famous Turkish **LOKUM**, here is indisputably the best ❤ If you like sweet never miss it out. My all time favorite is with susam seeds, pistachios, almonds and peanut butter pasta. Highly recommend 👌

* Oh, I forget the drink - **ayran**,  is made from yogurt, water and salt and in my country is very well known. That was completely the same at least. I don't have any picture tho.
We tried Efes beer 100% malt 🍺 Delicious!
And Yeni raki made from aniseed. **RAKI** is the unofficial national drink there. Traditionally drunk mixed with water, the dilution causes the alcoholic drink to turn a milky-white colour. Similar to Greek ozuo if you have tried.

P.S. Service also was great, mainly young people, very friendly calling us "**KOMSHI**"  which means neighbor on my language but it's basically Turkish word that we borrow.
