Finally I Can Test it! The First SMT!

A different post was planned as I wrote in my previous post but I have to prefer this short one here.

Today I was invited to the Appics Testnet. Finally, I am also able to test the first SMT application. A lot of time has passed since the ICO. From what I can say right now is that it looks promising. The design is noble even without the latest design update. Of course, it is not a finished product right now, but that is not the purpose of a testnet. The next time I will post a picture will be via Appics.

From the very beginning, I was convinced that this application could be a huge benefit for the STEEM blockchain. I wrote several times about Appics.

For those who don't know what Appics is: **It's the first SMT(Smart Media Token) based application.**Simply explained; Its a decentralized version of Instagram having their own token called XAP. Do you know **Steepshot?** It's already running and basically the same. The difference between Appics and Steepshot is that Appics is an SMT and with that operating as an independent application but still on the same Blockchain.

I hope that the SMT protocol will be finished developed soon. SMTs could be a real gamechanger. They could open new possibilities for the STEEM Blockchain. But like everything, all applications have to prove themselves first.
