Up till now I didn't believe there will be a thing I would be curious to know about but I won't be able to do it. Right from childhood I've been an inquisitive being, I'm always eager to learn new things. 

I'm the kind of person that doesn't want to be a novice in anything at all even though I might not know the full details of that particular thing, just to have an idea is okay by me. I find it easy to learn crafts, even by observation and once I practice like once or twice, it has become part of me and I can display my knowledge at any time.

> *But one skill that I find so difficult to find my way through is the skill of **Bicycle Riding**.*

During my childhood, when I pick interest in doing a thing, I must surely see the end and learn whatsoever that might be rather less of the difficulty I might encounter but this bicycle riding of a thing is just so difficult that I can't comprehend.

As in, I don't just get it at all, maybe it's because I grew up in the capital city of one of the North Central states in Nigeria whereby bicycle riding isn't our major means of transport or because my parents never thought of buying I and my siblings bicycles while growing up, I don't just know. 

The worst thing is, to maintain my balance on a bicycle is frightening let alone paddle the bicycle. Once I mount the bicycle like this, I will start feeling dizzy. To even take a ride with an expert on a bicycle caused me a headache, in short I'm always afraid!

I intended to conquer my fear during my undergraduate days so with determinations I approached a guy who is a rider to please help me out. The guy was willing to help me out and I thought I was ready as well but on the long run I couldn't navigate my way around it. I struggled with how to paddle and at the same time maintain my focus.

My heart almost left me when the bicycle was heading straight to the main road during one of our training days and I couldn't figure out what to do, I literally forgot where my instructor called the brake. The guy was shouting telling me what to do, but I couldn't hear, on the long run I managed to stop the bicycle but I didn't know how I did it up till this moment. 

All I know is that before I could reach the main road the bicycle stopped and I quickly got down and out of fear headed home straight. The guy was calling me for some explanation I turned deaf ears.....lol....*this life I can't kill myself* 🤣🤣. 

It was one of the most terrifying moments of my life and this made bicycle riding one of the hardest thing for me up till this moment. I was just so scared of hurting myself.

Therefore, up till this moment I'm unable to master riding a bicycle, it was so difficult for me to grasp after the unpleasant situation I encountered while learning it and I've giving up. 

Maybe when I start having kids, I will buy them a bicycle at an early age so that they won't be like me who can't conquer my fear.
