My First HPUD

*Hello, it's the first day of the Tenth month of the year and I'm so happy to be alive hale and hearty. It's also Nigeria's Independence Day🇳🇬🇳🇬, I'm using this medium to wish all Nigerians on Hive **Happy Independence Day🇳🇬.** I pray our land will experience a turn around for good in Jesus name.*

This is my first time of participating in the Hive Power up Day of the first day of the month. Since I joined hive it was last month I learnt about powering up hive either daily or on Hive power up day. I powered up some of my daily post last month and I was surprised to see how it works. So I made up my mind to start HPUD this month (October) and here I am.

Looking at the screenshot above, I've missed a lot. But for me to be able to participate this month of October, henceforth I'm not gonna miss any HPUD again.

*I've learnt that powering up is another way to grow ones account, contribute to the growth of Hive blockchain and also help one in earning more curation rewards. I'm now intentional about my growth on Hive and I don't want to relent in increasing my hive stake on the blockchain. I learnt one can join HPUD by powering up at least 10Hive*. Therefore, I started with the minimum for this month

From the above screenshot, I've powered up 10Hive to kick start my journey on HPUD. And after the power up, my new HP is now 506.527 from 496.527.

I know it might be little but I'm grateful having this growth. This is quite encouraging for me and I'm positive that my growth will be rapid if I continue in powering up both my daily post and on HPUD.
