How I Managed Using My Phone Without Addiction

Almost everyone in the world will find it extremely difficult to not use a phone in an hour. I mean, almost every one of us is addicted to using phones, and this is because the only best friends people have are just their phones.I personally think what my phone is doing for me cannot be overemphasized. And what people use phones for are so many, giving, for instance.

A phone can be your means of financial stability: We are now in the era of technology where we can easily stay at home and make money, and one of the sources of income is our phone and the rest of the gadgets. It's just like going to the office every day; that's how we stayed on our phones every second. People create content with their phones and make millions of naira on the web 2 and web 3.

Apart from that, a phone also stands as a means of happiness; a lot of people are going through one or two things in life. A phone can stand as a means of happiness for you. I, as a person, use my phone as a means of happiness, like watching comedy and so on.Meanwhile, a phone also serves as your friend when you are lonely or bored. Not everyone has people to talk to. Anytime I'm bored, I will take my phone and log in to TikTok just to put a smile on my face. There's no way I will have my phone that will not make me happy.

I must say that without a phone, a lot of people would have committed suicide in one way or another. The moment I'm feeling down, I will take my phone and start watching movies or comedy, and at that moment I will forget about everything I'm wondering about.So a phone is just like oxygen we all need in our lives because the benefits of it cannot be overemphasized.

But then that doesn't mean it doesn't have its own disadvantages. Some of the disadvantages of using too much of a phone are addiction, and it can also affect our eyes if the brightness of the screen is too much, and constant use of this can actually affect us.There are many ways in which it can affect us; it can allow us to forget everything we need to do in our lives. In fact, your food will get burnt.

I'm sure this has happened to so many people.The question is, can I go an hour without my phone or any gadget apart from sleeping? My answer is yes. I will go without my phone not just for an hour but for more than a day without using my phone. It is what I have done in fact, as in April this year I went for days without my phone, and even last year I went for a good ten days without my phone or any means of gadgets.I know it's not easy, but for me, I can do it. Because I have been doing it. Even sometimes when I'm praying, I go for hours without pressing apart from sleeping.

Telephones have only made the new generations of young people more stupid ... a great idiots factory in my opinion. I miss the old days, where we gathered to hit races in a field, without cell phones, only us, and a ball to play.

My eyes are very bad now and so I try my best to stay away from the screens cos it just makes it worse.

Even those with good eyes need a break of their phones for at least some parts of the day. But how many of us do that aside when we are sleeping?
