<div class="text-justify"><b>Desde hace 3 años mi hija Mariana forma parte de la cátedra de piano del Sistema de Coros y Orquestas del estado Sucre. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes parte de lo que fue el recital con motivo del Segundo Festival de la Escuela de Piano, ciclo de las sonatas para piano de Beethoven del Sistema de Coros y Orquestas Juveniles e Infantiles de Venezuela.</b></div>

<div class="text-justify">Por segundo año consecutivo el Sistema Nacional de Orquestas desarrolló el <em><b>Festival de la Escuela de Piano</b></em>,<em> ciclo de las sonatas para piano de Ludwig van Beethoven</em>. En su primera edición realizada en el año 2022 en la ciudad de Caracas, se mostró desde la sonata 1 hasta la 8; de las 32 que compuso el autor, para este segundo ciclo se presentó desde la 9 a la 14, siendo esta última la que desarrollaron los alumnos del núcleo de Cumaná. Este año motivado a la situación económica en nuestro país no fue posible realizar el traslado de los jóvenes a la ciudad capital, sin embargo, se hizo el llamado a los profesores para llevar a cabo la actividad en cada núcleo. </div>

><div class="text-justify">For the second consecutive year, the National Orchestra System developed <em><b>The Piano School Festival</b></em>, <em>a cycle of Ludwig van Beethoven's piano sonatas</em>. In its first edition held in the year 2022 in the city of Caracas, sonatas 1 to 8 were performed; of the 32 sonatas composed by the composer, for this second cycle, sonatas 9 to 14 were presented, the latter being the one performed by the students of the Cumaná center. This year, due to the economic situation in our country, it was not possible to transport the young people to the capital city; however, the teachers were called upon to carry out the activity in each center. </div>

<div class="text-justify">La cátedra de piano de la ciudad de Cumaná dirigida por los profesores Yesenia Romero y Anthony Rondón, está conformada por 20 alumnos, con edades que van desde los 4 hasta 20 años aproximadamente, si bien es cierto que no todos han alcanzado el nivel para tocar piezas de Beethoven, se les dió la oportunidad de participar para motivarlos a continuar estudiando y verse en un futuro tocando como sus compañeros. </div>

><div class="text-justify">The piano professorship of the city of Cumaná, directed by professors Yesenia Romero and Anthony Rondón, is made up of 20 students, with ages ranging from 4 to 20 years old approximately, although it is true that not all have reached the level to play pieces by Beethoven, they were given the opportunity to participate to motivate them to continue studying and to see themselves in the future playing like their classmates. </div>

<div class="text-justify">El más pequeño de los participantes mostró un ejercicio para principiantes, seguidamente interpretaron lecciones de los  libros, <em>Enseñando a Tocar a los deditos y Curso Moderno para el Piano</em> de John Tohmsom, de este último mi hija interpretó La Coronación, última lección del mismo que le permitirá avanzar a un siguiente nivel. </div>

><div class="text-justify">The youngest of the participants showed a beginner's exercise, then they played lessons from the books, <em>Teaching the Little Fingers to Play and </em>John Tohmsom's <em>Modern Piano Course</em>, from the latter my daughter played The Coronation, the last lesson of the book that will allow her to advance to the next level. </div>

<div class="text-justify">La parte central del recital donde se interpretaron las piezas de Beethoven se desarrolló de manera didáctica con una charla, que inició con una breve biografía del ilustre compositor y un poco de la historia de la balada <em>Para Elisa</em>, obra interpretada por la alumna Diana Abou. Seguidamente pudimos disfrutar de la participación de Sebastián Padilla uno de los más avanzados alumnos de la cátedra. Su intervención se dió en dos partes, la primera una exposición de como está compuesta la <em>Sonata  N° 14</em> en Do menor popularmente conocida como <em>Claro de Luna</em>, explicando la analogía que han hecho varios críticos musicales para explicar de que trata la pieza y la segunda la interpretación de los tres movimientos que la conforman. Lamentablemente mientras filmaba esa maravillosa participación que terminó entre aplausos de pie  y lágrimas en los ojos de Sebastián y varios de los presentes, mi teléfono detuvo la grabación con un mensaje que no haber suficiente espacio libre, razón por la que solo les presentaré el primer movimiento de dicha Sonata. </div>

><div class="text-justify">The central part of the recital where Beethoven's pieces were performed was developed in a didactic way with a talk, which began with a brief biography of the illustrious composer and a little of the history of the ballad <em>For Elisa</em>, a work interpreted by the student Diana Abou. Then we enjoyed the participation of Sebastián Padilla, one of the most advanced students of the professorship. His intervention was in two parts, the first was an exposition of how the <em>Sonata No. 14</em> in C minor is composed, popularly known as <em>Moonlight</em>, explaining the analogy that several music critics have made to explain what the piece is about, and the second was the interpretation of the three movements that make it up. Unfortunately, while I was filming this wonderful participation that ended with standing applause and tears in the eyes of Sebastian and several of those present, my phone stopped the recording with a message that there was not enough free space, which is why I will only present the first movement of the Sonata. </div>

<div class="text-justify">En palabras de la profesora Yesenia Romero, líder de la cátedra, este recital estaba dirijido tanto para los alumnos como para los representantes y demás asistentes, ya que mientras nosotros tengamos más conocimiento de la música mejores músicos ellos serán. Realmente fue una experiencia enriquecedora que me permitió valorar aún más el esfuerzo que tanto profesores, representantes y los mismos alumnos hacemos para formar músicos de calidad. </div>
