The Union Home Ministry has granted 'Y' category security cover to chairperson and founder of Reliance Foundation Nita Ambani.



Central security agencies had prepared a threat assessment report after which the protection was sanctioned.



A government officer told PTI, "The security cover will be fully paid for, like in the case of her husband." Mukesh Ambani has had 28 commandos, a pilot and an escort vehicle with him round-the-clock since April 2013, when he received threats from the Indian Mujahideen.
