> Something I would love to praise about "Tár" is the construction (and destruction) of its main character, it is so well created, written and developed that more than once I came to think that Lydia really existed and that she was not just a Hollywood character, simply great. Now, I must be honest and accept that at first I didn't understand the motive of "Tár", I started taking it as a biopic, but in reality it couldn't be because Lydia Tár is a fictional character. It wasn't until the protagonist's actions began to have repercussions that I realized the powerful message behind the plot.

> The plot and the idea of the story is very good and I must confess that I was expecting something much worse, it is not the series of the year but it is one that lets us watch and allows us to pass the time without boredom. The intrigue is sold to us from minute one and I think it is their way of getting us the viewers hooked to the mini series and once we start this journey we can't leave it. As in everything there are its ups and downs, I think its strength is the confusion that one can get to feel sometimes not knowing what is really happening, you understand the context of things but put an order to the facts is complicated, it is a very complex puzzle in certain parts of the story. Its lows are perhaps the moments where each one lives their lives and are apart from each other, there everything becomes very slow and routine and at times loses its rhythm.

> As in the book, the film is set in the Salinas Valley, California, but the novel covers the story of three generations over more than fifty years, from the 19th century to the start of World War I, while that the film is set only in the latter. I understand that adaptations are usually just that and that due to time and format issues the film can never tell everything, but the truth is that there were important aspects of the story that did not make it to the big screen. For example, the entire history of the Hamilton family and the importance that Samuel Hamilton had in the formation and development of the paternity of Adam Trask; Adam's father and brother, Cyrus and Charles, whose relationships heralded those that Adam himself would have with his sons; the dark strength of Cathy's character, perhaps the most powerful character in the book; the presence of Lee, Adam's simple but wise servant; none of that appears in the film and it is because the film covers only the fourth and last part of the novel, when Adam moves to Salinas with his children. Trying to explain all of the above or convey its essence without even having two of the most important characters in 75% of the novel is an impossible task. I understand that.

> We can also see how while technology and government weapons are becoming more powerful at the same time there is still a lot of brutality in humans in the sense of wanting to act brutally always no matter what that may imply, even if it is the same **nature. It's a movie that I honestly didn't sense much was going to happen, because the troll story has been a while since I saw something of that style and I really liked it a lot and I entered like a new world of troll movies that can have a lot of story to tell and I LOVE that.

> Relatives, friends, survivors, relatives, witnesses, investigators, police, psychologists. In other words, it is a compendium of opinions and versions that aims to show the real damage they have left behind. Beyond the crimes themselves... An ethical lesson, which from my point of view is admirable. If there is any self-criticism, it should go in that direction. I understand that those of us who haven't lived through something like this, or don't know anything similar, are entertained by these events, but the idea is to show what human evil is capable of. This is what we see as viewers, even if the context is horrifying. However, Netflix shows in this documentary series a remarkable aesthetic expertise and narrative resources. That is undeniable. If anything is not going to happen to you while watching this production, it is that it reaches a point that is dense, heavy, boring, nothing to see? Quite the contrary, it is gripping, meticulous, well-ordered and above all critical. And for those who do not know the story of Peter Sutcliffe, who turned out to be the Yorkshire Ripper, the protagonist of this docu-series, it may be unbelievable to see the facts as they are presented.

> The police come to his aid and together with him they find some other important clues that may lead to the whereabouts of Amy (Rosamund Pike), his brilliant wife. In the meantime, the desperate waiting, plus the media harassment, seem to drive Nick crazy. In the movie we will be able to see parts of the current story and what happened in the past, in every passing minute of this movie we will be able to see in a very well done way, how a brilliant mind, but a little hurt by different circumstances, can become unbalanced. To begin with, this movie is mostly about love and how changes in addition to our bad attitudes, can make the other person feel a little overwhelmed, especially when they are giving their best. Depending on the other person's way of thinking or what they have faced in life sometimes exhaustion, can lead them to not think things through correctly, to want to hurt back and no matter what or how, manage to calm that emptiness or negative feeling that overwhelms them.
