DeFi is a way of using blockchain and crypto to do finance without middlemen. DeFi makes finance more open, fair and fast. DeFi apps run on smart contracts that work by themselves on a blockchain like Ethereum. DeFi users can do many things with their crypto like lending borrowing trading investing and saving. DeFi also has new features like lending to anyone earning more interest and borrowing instantly that are not possible in normal finance. DeFi is still new and changing but it could change how finance works in the futurE.
