The world premiere of the movie "Planet of the beasts", created by Chinese filmmakers in the genre of fantasy action, drama and adventure, took place on June 28, 2018. In the Russian box office, this film appeared on August 2 of the same year, and it can also be found on the Internet on sites that provide services for viewing movies online.

I watched it not so long ago on the advice of my son, who, however, warned me that the film is a bit strange and somehow does not really match its name. For me, in order to decide to view it, it was enough that it was declared in such genres as fantasy action, drama and adventure.

It's a pity I didn't see any fiction here. Drama, adventure, action-Yes, elements of these genres are present here, but they are also revealed quite poorly. Perhaps the creators of the film under fiction meant manifestations of mental abnormalities in the main character, when he, being in upset feelings, allegedly turned into an evil clown, destroying enemies right and left? It seems to me that if there were no such scenes with stupid transformations, the film would look much more interesting and exciting. In any case, I liked it better without these clownish things.

The plot of the film I would not call completely original. There are already much cooler movies in which the main characters, in order to earn money or pay off debts, took part in survival games. However, if in those films, the losers simply died, then here they were sent to ... I will not reveal this secret, I will save, so to speak, intrigue for those who want to see this picture. Yes, and the game, the loss of which was fraught with serious consequences, was chosen frankly childish. It was once, about fifteen years ago, in Vogue among teenagers - "Rock-paper-scissors".

In principle, you can watch it once. In addition, the ending of the film turned out to be quite good, with a pedagogical background - always remain a person, even if you are in an animal pack.

Apparently, the film is so called because the crowd, maddened by the thirst for profit, can hardly be called a human society. True, was one of the last scenes of the predators, but they most likely were shown as a backdrop to what happens on the ship.

I will not advise anyone to watch this film. Also, I will not dissuade you from viewing it. Perhaps it will have its own audience-teenage.

Another negative that I would like to mention is the attempt of Chinese filmmakers to make films based on scenarios close to Hollywood. This film doesn't have the special Chinese flavor that we are used to.
