Awkward introduction to my absolutely not funny self

As a new member of the Steemit community, I'd like to start saying that... **I don't know what I got myself into**.

Yeah, I know, this is a new social media where you can write and have fun and maybe get paid for it (yay). But although my expectations of getting popular are pretty low, I came here for one reason:

To write stuff. 

Now that we're done with cheesy introductios:  Hello, Sweet Readers!
My name is Manuel, and I'm from the mysterious land of Maracaibo, Venezuela. Not the best country to live in, I know. But here we are.

I'm a bassist, and I play in two local rock bands, also, I love film and everything that goes with it. 
I'll be writing about it pretty soon. But first, let me introduce myself properly.

**Edgar Wright is my favorite director**, I think that his style is unique and instantly recognizable, he is always reminding us that a movie without style, It's a pretty boring movie. My favorite band is a long-gone british one that went by the name of **Hot Club De Paris**, why is it long-gone? Well, mostly because they went on hiatus since  2012 and they've never posted anything again.
**I'll probably write about that someday**.

But yeah, those are some of my main interests, and I'm sure you will enjoy my posts as I do writing them. That's all for now.
