The new UI has opened up the portals of engagement through to the later, following the massive add-ons of updates that have been associated ever since the release of the new UI on the 14th day of February 2023.

A lot has been really and truly going on with these features added to the new UI and the massive sets and methods of engagement that have been introduced, which have fast-forwarded the use rate and work over time rate of the duration of staying on the project. Indeed, it can't be understated that threading and its features have done magic on increasing MAUs on Leofinance.


Following the use cases of the features on Project Blank, threading and polls won it all as the most used engaging tools on the site for the moment. There is more to come that might challenge the two, but for the moment, let's give the credit to these two important features. 


To create a POll, follow through

Press this [link](https://alpha.leofinance.io...) and this will immediately direct you to the new UI. If this is probably your first time logging on to the new UI, you might have to sign in. I simplified the processes to that in this [post](https://peakd.com/hive-167922/@mrhive001/how-to-successfully-write-and-publish-a-post-using-the-new-ui).

When logged in, at the centre of the dashboard is a thread, and in the thread is where polls are generated.

1. First of all, create the topic of your poll by writing as if it were a thread.

2. The last sign on the box for creating a thread is the polls.

3. Insert the options that fit your poll topic.

4. When done with this, you have successfully created a poll. You are set to publish when you press the publish button.

I understand that you were waiting to know how to create a thread, but inversely, if you have created a poll, you have unknowingly created a thread. Just write in the box provided there, do your tagging by first of all putting in hashtags (#), then publish when done.
