Quarantine Day 1

21 days of quarantine is being required in our municipality. This is to make sure that someone who arrives doesn't bring the virus. It's kind of hard because of too many days will be spending alone. Even so, we are no expert about this kind of virus. Just to be sure everyone must comply with the requirements. I don't know how will it affects someone but it's better this way if you don't want to be responsible for spreading the virus. That's why I am here in the macrohon central of elementary school as the quarantine facility of this town.

From the time I stepped my feet in the land of Macrohon. I was so eager to go home. Who wouldn't be when you missed your place so much and you know just steps away your home is there. Actually, mixed emotions came into my thoughts. It's normal because as I've said I'm eager and I wanted to be home desperately. Sometimes I wonder why I must experience it? Then because of my disappointment thoughts came that I didn't know if it's the right thing to do. I know they're just thinking the possible outcome it's just that, it's not easy.

Before I decided to go home I already fixed my mind. I knew I will experience this and I was ready for this. Although it's a bit different when I'm actually here. The loneliness, the situation does not go outside, the situation like you're not being totally free. It freezes me as I can smell the scent of home. It made me mad how this virus ruins my freedom and the limited time to be at home. This is not the municipal's fault because they're just doing the right thing. I'm not blaming them either because the results might be worst.

When I woke up, the surrounding became brighter. I went outside and took some walking. I breathed the fresh air from nature and I know I breathed the same air from home. I saw the Brgy. officials who were so accomodating and I saw one of my families visited me to give food. For an instance, my negative thoughts were fading. I am confident that I can endure this 21 days just to make sure the place I called home will be free from the threat of this virus. It's not that I'm telling I'm a courier of it but just making sure.

Now while sitting outside the quarantine area. I came back to my senses that this is not just for the town's people but also to my love ones. I don't want to put themselves in danger. I should avoid the circumstances if possible. I may not know what will happen in the next day and the next but one thing is for sure. I will go out with this facility thinking that I will not bring risk to everyone.
