Definition of Comfort is "A person or a thing that helps to alleviate a difficult situation"

A difficult situation we face everyday is HUNGER!. The need of nutrients, the need of energy, the need to keep going.

In order to do that, we need to satisfy our stomach. We need to provide it comfort, by feeding it generously.

Stomach is an organ which has a close relation with your brain, you mess around with your stomach, you have to face the wrath of the brain.

Brain hit's you with headaches, irritability & mood swings. You don't want that, do you?. Then make sure to keep your big sack of acid happy.


When I am hungry, I crave a a lot of different cuisines. Chinese, Mughlai, continental and most of all Junk food. My stomach is the happiest when it receives junk food and my tongue is jumping with excitement, but you know what?

The lever hates it, so does the heart, its just jealous of the stomach. Whenever the stomach is in depression, it is satisfied immediately. It's not the case with Heart, lever & kidney.


We need to find a way, that we can satisfy all the organs at the same time, with foods & dishes, I call **COMFORT FOOD**.

Comfort Food are the only category of food which can achieve a synergy between all your organs. Your heart is happy, so is your kidney and lever. In this case, it's not the stomach that is getting all the attention.


My go to comfort food is a classic fresh South India Curd rice, with the perfect tempering. Not cold not warm, just the perfect temperature. The tempering is the crown of curd rice.

I don't have to explain you all the benefits of curd, rice and all the herbs and spices that go with it. You guys already know it.

It's your everyday herbs and spices that is added to the curd rice. The synergy of all those makes the curd rice a not so simple dish. It has to be made with perfection.
