# SMT's and Hardfork 20 should be epic!!!!

So Steem has been pumping pretty nicely the past week or so and it seems to be holding strong at these levels.  All this without any major update on the blockchain.   Makes me extremely excited to see what the prices will be like when we finally roll out HF20. 

I think we haven't even seen the full potential of this blockchain.  Right now it takes users anywhere from a couple hours to over a week to get an account created.  Once this limit is gone and people are able to sign up instantly things are going to get real crazy around here.  Think of how many people you have invited to join that lost interests because they didn't get an account fast enough.  The more users we have the more people invest and power up Steem making our beloved coin more scarce.  Less supply and more demand equals price rise theoretically.   

We have an amazing community here and for the most part we all love this place.  Having a strong community is really crucial to a blockchain's survival.  We are nearing 1 million accounts.  Of course its up to debate how many of those accounts are bots or belonging to one user.  I would have to say that we have at least 100,000 real human users on here.  Which is still a pretty big number and respectable too.
