Why Write
 https://i.imgur.com/TL6FVOs.jpg

For a while now, I’ve reduced my rate of posting consistently every day. One reason is that I’ve been threading a lot and my time is therefore split between writing a 500 word post everyday day and making threads. Not that alone, but also making sure you keep up with reading and commenting on other authors' articles along the line.

*I actually write this few days ago before I had a little feverish feeling which was diagnosed as malaria from a nearby nurse, so I had to take some time off and some drugs too to get better*

I think I’m back now so no more off days. Miss me?

Well, enough of that because this is not about me it’s about writing.

Writing a long form post that’s yet to be written. The start is always the hardest. It’s like a bridge you’ve got to cross with the readers without leaving the readers behind.

I have been thinking a lot about why I write, who I write for, and what it is I plan to accomplish with my articles at the end of every sentence. Some like to do the carrot chase, and this subtly works out for them at one point.

However, there is something serious about why we write that that alone can create an atmosphere of peace and stability to the extent that we don’t have to see any form of writing as a form of work. At one point I enjoyed writing and for this reason, I like to write at least 3 times every week, so I can have time to recharge, reflect and reassess my stance on why I would like to continue to write without getting bored with both forms of writing — long and short.

Long or short. I like to try to write with both without getting bored. But each time I have to reflect on my reasons, I always come up with another reason to keep on writing. I feel my attention span is low from numerous unconscious decisions to consume and create what it is I would want to see anyone write. This presents a lot of hidden hurdles like having not to be present in partaking in the journey side by side with the readers reading and consuming your articles every day.

We could say that Hive cuts above-average Joe of the long form world in the web 3 world, but we’ve got to be able to have a goal and a why for why we would want to keep writing on Hive. The norm might be to hit life-changing money on Hive and stop the highs and lows of writing, and leading your readers to rare gems or common goals hidden between every one of your articles.

My new reason and why I would like to keep writing now revolve around leading readers to the destination and showing them gems. And every so often there are also no gems or nothing that’s exciting to see about the journey from the starting line to the finish line.

Many of us can’t even take the time to always want to keep writing, it is not that we don’t wish you keep writing as a writer, but we deem ourselves less of a writer and for this reason, we struggle with navigating through the writers world. I must say, writing contents—long or short, is a walk around the park of how writers feel and how humans think. Every so often we don’t get to feel anything in writing, but that’s because we don’t have a why for writing each article.

So we don’t get that sense of accomplishment after hitting the publish button every time. Many get it from the Votes and Visions of attaining a life-changing money someday, but why we write has to be greater than that if we really want to walk side by side with readers without leaving them behind in a rush to get to the fiendish line.

**This is the finish line and why I write, and just like every other time, this reason keeps changing—not for the worse but for the better**.

If you don’t mind, you can share with me the reason(s) why you write. And what do you think helps keep you going every week to keep writing to your readers? And if you would rather not share any of that, let me know about the journey.
>*Did you follow me through from start to finish successfully, or I left you behind?*

*I think most times I do because once I hit the finish line I don’t look back, but that’s a topic for another day.*

**See you next time**
