 <div class="text-justify"> Hi Hiver's... My post this time is about traditional musical instruments that are very famous in my area. The instrument is named Rapa'i. Rapai is a traditional musical instrument typical of Aceh, Indonesia. This musical instrument has existed since ancient times, even now it is still played in every traditional performance in Aceh. > Postingan aku kali ini adalah tentang alat musik tradisional yang sangat terkenal di daerah saya. Alat musik tersebut bernama Rapa’i. Rapai merupkan alat musik tradisional khas Aceh, Indoensia. Alat musik ini telah ada dari sejak zaman dahulu, bahkan sampai sekarang masih di mainkan di setiap pergelaran adat di Aceh.  This musical instrument is made of wood and dried goatskin. The wood used to make a rapa'i is jackfruit wood, Merbau wood or other wood that is very old. The shape is like a drum band instrument. The hole at the top of the rapa'i is bigger than the bottom. The top is covered with skin, while the bottom is left open. Around the rapa'i, clamps of rattan are attached which function to regulate the tension of the skin covering. > Alat musik ini di terbuat dari kayu dan kulit kambing yang telah dikeringkan. Kayu yang di gunakan untuk membuat sebuah rapa’i adalah kayu nangka, kayu merbau atau kayu lainya yang sudah sangat tua umurnya. Bentuknya seperti alat musik drumband. Lubang pada bagian atas rapa’i lebih besar dari bagian bawahnya. Bagian atasnya ditutupi kulit, sedangkan bagian bawah dibiarkan terbuka. Sekeliling rapa’i dipasangi penjepit dari rotan yang berfungsi untuk mengatur tegangan kulit penutupnya.   Rapa'i is usually played in groups, with a sitting position with a number of players 10-20 people with different ages. In addition, rapa'i is also played at night around 20.00 WIB until 03.00 WIB. > Rapa’i ini biasa biasa di mainkan secara berkelompok, dengan posisi duduk melingkat dengan jumlah pemain 10-20 orang dengan usia yang berbeda. Selain itu, rapa’i juga di mainkan pada malam hari sekitar pukul 20.00 Wib sampai pukul 03.00 Wib.   The way to play this traditional musical instrument is to hold it with your left hand and beat it with your right hand. To beat the rapa'i do not use sticks or other tools, but only by using the palm of the hand. And to be able to play it, you must have special skills. > Cara mainkan alat musik tradisional ini adalah dengan cara memegang dengan tangan kiri dan menabuhnya dengan tangan kanan. Untuk menabuhkan rapa’i tersebut tidak memakai stik atau alat lainya, melainkan hanya dengan menggunakan telapak tangan. Dan untuk bisa memainkannya, harus memiliki keahlian khusus.
