This is my post for #freewriters Friday prompt *soda pop* hosted by @mariannewest

I know the above picture is not *soda pop*, it is water. Tell me, would you drink water called liquid death? I would not. I would not even buy it, but I did snap a photo of it, just in case @mariannewest gave a prompt that I might be able to use it. This prompt is close enough.

I am very proud of my daughter. Her children did not have *soda pop* until they were older and still it was a limited amount. They drank water and never complained about it. I grew up calling *soda pop*, coke, it did not matter what kind it was, it was a coke. I loved to take a longneck bottle of Pepsi and pour a package of peanuts in it. The combo was so good.

One summer I was crossing the river and saw a can floating, I always stop and pick up trash when I see it. There was a hurricane that was headed toward us. When I saw the can, my first thought was, I hope this is not an omen. It is called Hurricane category 5. It is some sort of beer, not *soda pop*. Which I might need if a cat 5 was coming.

This is the same little girl who was drinking water, she is with grandma, which is me on a cruise. Yes, Grandma let her have *soda pop*. She did not really care for it.

But by the end of the week, she was liking it a lot better, even giving a toast to my other granddaughter and grandson.

This photo is looking down at my *soda pop* tree. I have always called it my bottle tree, but for today it can be a *soda pop* tree.
