When we were fighting to keep our fishing nets in Florida, the opposing side had more money and made commercials showing how nets caught turtles, the clips were taken from a documentary that was showing how well the turtle release devices were working, but all of that was left out, they showed only the turtles in the nets. These were also shrimping nets that had nothing to do with the ban on fishing nets.  All the viewers saw was turtles being caught, not the whole truth behind what was going on.
