Stars and Food Introduction, Second Attempt

<p>Hi! How are you? I’m good today! &nbsp;</p>
<p>(It looks like this is my second attempt at this.)</p>
<h1>Short and Sweet&nbsp;</h1>
<p>Although I have been here for some time (since last summer, actually), this is my formal introduction post. I was invited to come here and write by a friend. I have written on public forums and several of my own websites. None of my websites are currently up and running, long story.&nbsp;</p>
<p>I am an Astrologer, as probably everyone on my friend's list who has seen my astrology threads knows. My favorite thing is to analyze historical events astrologically and then write. Or decode history using it as a reference with other research. I have other interests too…crystals/rocks and (gourmet) cooking – that’s my Sun sign talking, Cancer the Moon- ruled (food loving) Crab. My hobby is trying out different cheesecake recipes or recipe ideas. I’m gluten free and very health conscious so it means that I tweak the recipes I find and try to find creative alternatives for traditional cooking.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Here is my introduction photo, about the third try. I know the date is a bit off, that was because it took me this long to sort out my words and put them down on paper after I had an okay photograph to share. That was, let me see…Monday afternoon last week. It was taken by my husband on his cellphone camera. Oh yeah. I don’t have a cell phone of my own. Er, yet. &nbsp;</p>

<h1>The Long Version&nbsp;</h1>
<p>So, what do I say when people ask me what I ‘do’? I was at the grocery store recently and the checkout clerk asked me, ‘what do you do’? This question usually puts me at least a little bit at odds, trying to come up with an easy &nbsp;answer. I mean, there’s the status quo type answer to that question …to which, at this point in my life I don’t have a good one. But then there are the kind of answers that describe the really meaningful things we want other people to understand about us. Kind of like, this post?&nbsp;</p>
<p>Fortunately I was at a Health Food store, one of my regular stops. The kind of place where holistic ideas and spiritual alternatives go hand in hand with the food. Feeling safe, I indulged the conversation and shared a look into my life. It was this very conversation that got me moving in the direction of creating a real introduction post here on Steemit. &nbsp;</p>
<p>OK. Besides the family support role of housewife, mom of three teenage kids (and ex-homeschool mom), I am a healer and a writer. That is, I have very strange, even paranormal ‘healing’ experiences and I like to write about them. &nbsp;I think we are capable of far more than we are programmed to realize and I enjoy sharing what I have learned. &nbsp;Oh yeah. And I love rocks and crystals. I am an accomplished rockhound and I also use crystals for their protection and healing properties…some of my best friends.&nbsp;</p>
<p>One of my main interests is Astrology, which I became fascinated with at a very early age. I was at a family holiday gathering at the age of 9 at my grandparents’ house and I noticed a book my grandmother had left in her study, cracked open and face down on a table next to the couch. I remember it clearly. Linda Goodman’s Sun Signs. I was fascinated!! I spent the entire afternoon locked in one of their spare bedrooms, looking up the Sun sign for every person I could think of and reading up about them from the detailed descriptions given. Since then I’ve spent a lot of time and study, as well as countless hours watching the nighttime (and daytime) sky, devoted to my interests! PS. I have a HECK of a collection of photographs of UFOs and ‘weather anomalies’ I would love to share sometime. &nbsp;It continues to grow, to this very day. &nbsp;</p>
<h2>More Serious Stuff&nbsp;</h2>
<p>My favorite research is to cast an astrological chart for an event in history and then analyze the event using not only the chart, but also in many cases, my own past life memories and experiences. There is a healing process that comes with that, emotionally and mentally reconciling personal issues and the big picture of your soul journey, in my opinion. Yes, I am psychic. But it’s not what you might expect. Most of the time I miss details that are right in front of my very eyes (especially when it comes to other people), and yet I can recall detailed events from history and other lifetimes, even from my early childhood in this life. (In my photo my Steemit sign is a wreath of fish. I intentionally chose it as a representation of answers to the dream consciousness and subconscious mind. If I ever ‘do’ another introduction post, I hope to have that same wreath of fish to present, only colored in with marking pens or colored pencils). &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p>Let me give you an example. I remember the first time I actually visited the Great Sand Dunes National Monument of my home state of Colorado, USA and I was ‘shown’ how it came to be. &nbsp;I was standing in front of a forest service sign containing a fancy, detailed explanation of the official story…probably what triggered me. The GSD is a big pile of sand, backed up against the Sangre De Cristo (Blood of Christ) Mountain Range in Southern Colorado.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The official story is: &nbsp;very slowly, over geological time, grains of sand were deposited by the wind and after eons of this we somehow wound up with a huge, random pile of sand out in the middle of the country. Nope. &nbsp;Or not exactly. What I saw, in a place within my mind I call my second attention (from Don Juan’s teachings), was a gigantic tidal wave caused by a major shift in/on the Earth straight west of that &nbsp;location, all the way out to the coast of current time California, where this huge wave originated from and deposited this gigantic mass of sand from somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. I don’t know if I have to tell you how big that wave would have to have been to reach that far inland, but it was very big. Did I mention my interest in geology (rocks and crystals)? &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<h2>Conclusion&nbsp;</h2>
<p>I enjoy sharing my unique perspective. To be honest, I have to write about it because I can’t let my stories die inside me and most of the time I can’t handle knowing the things I know, or holding my stories in, from within a vacuum. Writing is an outlet for me and more. Someday, I hope to write a book. Probably more than one.&nbsp;</p>
<p>But also, a girl just needs friends to hang out and share things with once in awhile. At least, I do. Fun stuff. ‘Normal’ stuff. Like, my latest gourmet cheesecake creation. Why cheesecake, you ask? Well. I remember once being asked (by an angel no less) if there was one food I could not get enough of and would eat often, every day if I could, in Heaven, what would it be? Without even hesitating, my answer was cheesecake. Since then I have become gluten free and very health conscious and with that mixture, it is kind of a challenge to come up with something that works, but not really. Also as a Cancerian ruled by the Moon, I love food.&nbsp;</p>

<p>I don’t currently have a cellphone although I would like to get one eventually, for the sake of a good, highly portable camera if nothing else. I sometimes struggle with technology and even maintaining my focus long enough on such things in order to learn them. I can’t be the only one out there with this problem…I feel that the age of such technology has hit us so fast as to blindside some of us with it. Or maybe some of us have been so busy dealing with other things that it caught us by surprise. &nbsp;</p>
<p>PS. I really support the idea of an alternate economic venue/system…as found with Steemit. It is one of the very positive side effects I think of as part of being here, although I don’t understand any of the ins and outs of it at this point. &nbsp;I feel that we should be creating these kinds of venues for ourselves and our future society… it should be a conscious goal. Directly trading goods and services would be nice. Then of course there is the possibility of a more standardized barter system. My vote for that would be Cannabis (in all of its various forms – industrial hemp and medical CBD included, as major solutions for real world problems of replacing fossil fuels and big pharma) as one of the standards of barter currency. I believe that the Founding Fathers of the USA had considered this option, but never got the chance to implement it. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p>With all of that said, I hope all of this wasn’t too much.&nbsp;</p>

My friend @mymoontao liked your introduction, you should do it again under the tag- introduceyourself.

I noticed you were into my posts on Atlantis and that you are also into healing.  I have written a lot about a good phenomenon that  is here, the healing whirlwind.  So, your proof and websites are gone too, huh?  Well I still have a few things and you will see them on my Atlantis post on healing in a day or two.  Perhaps sometime we might get together in the summer so you can see or experience the healing whirlwinds if they still will work.  I think they do but it is not summer yet.  I live in the southwest central Utah desert out in the middle of nowhere

The healing whirlwind...how fascinating.  I will look for this information...do you have a specific post for me to view on this?  I am intrigued that you work with natural forces and healing on this level.  Me too... I have "experiences."  Thank you for reaching out to me.  Yes I am way into healing, on levels that go beyond just this life or this incarnation.  I figure you know what I am talking about.  I am honored to find a kindred, someone to compare notes with.  I am open to a summer connection but I am low on resources, both financially and physically (car and body).  Do you know...isn't Utah somewhat famous for a mini trilobite fossil collection site?  Somewhere I said I always wanted to check out...there are a few of them in other (closeby) states worth checking out although Colorado is amazing, for its geology and fossils too.  I will watch for more of your Atlantis posts!  I have some past life and historical recall of some of it and again, it would be good to be able to find and share clues for filling in the blanks.

Any posts about it anywhere and most have been destroyed except the ones on Steemit.  It is somewhere in there on a science contest post and maybe in the Song of Angels 1-4.  I don't know if I mentioned them in there.  I don't think so what I wrote about is the Healing Whirlwinds much nastier cousin.  I heroically rid the area of it - I hope ;-)
