Hello Steemit! An introduction from Sweden :)

<p>Writing online is a new thing to me, even if I'm born in the 80's and basically grew up with internet.</p>
<p>So this shouldn't be anything new to me, but it is. I always use to write thoughts, ideas and opinions in a traditional notebook, so starting to write online is a big step for me, but also a really fun one :) I'm really looking forward to this.</p>

<p>I'm a woman in the mid 30's, 34 to be exact:) I'm born and raised in the second largest city in Sweden, Gothenburg.</p>
<p>I'm a mum to 3 beautiful kids, who always gives me joy and sometimes some gray hair:)</p>
<p>I have a lot of interests, but what's closest to my heart is gaming, homestyling, movies and cooking.&nbsp;</p>
<p>And lately I discovered a new interest, cryptocurrency, which I will talk about in a later blog, how I discovered that.</p>
<p>I grew up in a time when bright pastel colors was in fashion, when there was no internet and when Nintendo was new to the market. I remember it as yesterday when my dad came home with Nintendo 8 bit. It was an amazing feeling to play Mario. That's how my interest for gaming came.</p>
<p>I found out about Steemit from a friend, who also post blogs on this site. It seemed really fun, and having a bit of social phobia, as I have, maybe this blogging will help me overcome a bit of that.</p>
<p>You need to force yourself to do something that you have a bit of fear of. For example, I also have phobia of hot air balloons. I know, silly huh? I remember when I was little, maybe around 8 years old. My dad brought me to a hot air balloon show, in the middle of Gothenburg city. I saw how they filled the balloons with the hot air, saw the balloons rising to the air, slowly as they got filled. What scared me back then was how huge and frightening those balloons looked like, to me. It felt like the balloon wanted to catch me and pull me into that big space of hot hair and trap me inside.</p>
<p>I remember that day as it was yesterday. After that day I couldn't even look at an air balloon, not even pictures online.&nbsp;</p>
<p>But the past summer, something happened. I decided to overcome that fear. Since it was summer, it was also the season for the hot air balloons. I decided to look up, when a balloon past by. I took a deep breath and forced myself to look up. I just needed to overcome this fear! I looked up....and that big frightening thing was looking down on me and I felt my knees got weak and my breath tuned up. But...I managed it! And looking at pictures of hot air balloons online is now a piece of cake:)</p>
<p>I feel proud of myself by making this phobia slowly go away. I took one step forward in the right direction.</p>
<p>And that's what I'm hoping this blogging on Steemit will do; help me overcome my social phobia.</p>
<p>I'm really happy to start my new journey in life here. A new chapter just opened up, and to join this wonderful community makes me warm in my heart.</p>

I've been to Gothenburg once! My brother's girlfriend is from Sweden and when we visited, I decided to meet up with an online friend there. I was so jealous of the awesome fantasy store and the huge alternative clothing store! We hardly have those here and none as big as the ones I saw in Gothenburg.
