Blogging through WordPress can be fun but you need to worry also about technicality and hosting.

You Don't Need WordPress is a blogging tool that you can use to create blog post by simply using Google Docs. 

YDNW is integrated directly with Google Drive. You can blog from your phone or computer.

With this tool, you can use tables, shapes but with no markdown needed and everything would transfer into blog post.

You don't need to worry about hosting problem. It would be hosted for you FREE since you signup with them. It is also open source.

Signup and start creating blog post with Google Docs.
