It's always a good feeling to receive gifts and specially when they are something you like and would like to have. With the Birthday celebrations gone in Jan, I received some sweet little gifts from friends. All of them were nice, though there are 2 gifts which are absolutely delightful to have and I am so happy that my friend thought of it.

The first one is this Angel Wings. For people who know me personally, they are aware that I love having Angel figures in my home. My home is filled with them. In every corner of my home you will find one Angel. Last month I had a visitor and she was in complete awe by looking at all the different types of Angels at my home. Even when I travel, and if I come across I buy them. The good part is, I always come across them, even in the least expected places, just like Crystals. I have so many Angel figures in my home, but I did not realize that I did not have a single Angel Wings with me, and now that my friend has gifted it to me, I feel that I was missing out on something and the space is complete with it.

While I have them all around my home, but this is a special Fengshui corner of my home, so I decided to keep the wings also in this corner of my home and they do look very attractive together with all the other figurines. On this table I have the Angel of Knowledge, Angel of Love and Fairy God Mother and now the Wings add upto me and they normally specify Protection. I have been going through some rough times and guess that's what it's come to me, for Protection. It always happens with me when it comes to Crystals as well. They just come to me magically when I need them and for a specific purpose. I call it the magic of the Universe, and I so much love this magic.

The other gift that I received is this Frame of me and hubby. It looks so cute, we are both ready to rock and roll. I look funny in it, but I like it. Something very different from what I get normally. And how I wish I could get this thin again...hehe, oh yes, and hubby too. Rather he more then me 😜

I did mention a big Thank you to my friend who so thoughtfully gave me these gifts. I do like getting gifts, and who does not. But I still avoid this whole gifting scene, because sometimes I receive such things that I do not know what to do with them and then it's not even good to discard it or give it away to someone. When I have to buy a gift for someone, I try to buy things which are usable, like some organic home or beauty products. It should be use to the opposite person, else there is no point in gifting.

As of now I am happy with my these 2 gifts.
