At my neighbor's place these Mama and Papa Birdies have built a nest for their little babies.   When they started building the nest my friend called me and informed me about it. I was so excited to see. I went to see them after they were hatched and the little birdies were still very small chicks. Their Mama and Papa were making all efforts to bring them food, nourishing them and protecting them. It's a wonderful sight to see different types of nature's creation grow. And no matter whatever life it is, how parents protect their children and help them grow until they are ready to venture out in the world on their own.  

On day 1 when I went to see them, they could barely lift themselves up, they were just hatched and resting in their nest. Mama and Papa birds would keep coming on and off to check on them and getting them food. On day 2 they had little strength and were lifting up their necks from the nest. We could see them playing in their nest, chirpy and cheerful. Both the little ones were very sweet and adorable. They would extend their little necks up, make sounds and again go back inside. They looked very curious to explore the outside world.

Here's a picture of them playing around in their nest on day 2. They were moving so fast and it was difficult to take a picture, so we had to take a video and from that I am sharing the screenshots.

The Mama bird keeps coming on and off to check on them and to feed them. My friend kept some food and water for them, the mama bird did peck on that but she also went out exploring for other foods. I guess she has a different taste.

No matter whichever life, these connections are very precious. You can feel the warmth and love looking at them.

My friend was skeptic at first whether to allow the birds to build their nest or remove it. With good sense she allowed it and gave them a nice cozy home to grow their babies.

They kept on playing around through out the day, we had to be patient to get their pictures.

In around 10 days they have grown to this size and probably in a week more they will be ready to fly out and venture into the world of possibilities.

It's the first time ever I have seen the entire process of a bird from the stage of hatching, to chicks, fledging and eventually flying out. Such a sweet process, just like how you will see a little baby grow from birth to adulthood. The only difference here is the process of growth is very fast compared to human life. But, eventually the process of life and death is same for all life forms, from the stage of conceiving to birth, growing up, adulthood, old age and death. It's the circle of life.
