Back in 2013, [Red Thread Games](https://www.redthreadgames.com/) announced Draugen, attracting the attention of [Norwegian Film Institute](https://www.nfi.no/eng), resulting their financial support. Draugen is a first person psychological mystery game, taken place in Norway, 1920. A walking sim with intense plot and exploration mechanics.  At 1923, Edward Charles Harden, an American traveler, arrives to an Norwegian village with the purpose of finding his lost sister with Lissie, his partner!   You will experience a dark psychological story with a lot of mystery!!! The down thing is that his back story is sadly dissapointing although it has an interesting plot... As a walking sim you don't do much with the environment. You interact only with story driven things. On the other hand dialogs feel "alive" and the story is magically addicting!!!   You will find the title of the game in a book throughout the game. **Draugen !** *A monster living in mountain and sea!* A locan myth and thats all! 😕 There is no other connection with the plot, which left me a little bit disappointed.  ----- **Summarizing**, Draugen is an atmospheric adventure mystery game, with crazy plot twists! Amazing music, voice overs and scenery... Lively sense of dialogue and interesting plot. Some imperfections in textures, here and there and in movement mechanincs. Lastly, it has a weird feeling, leaving you with many questions about the end of the main plot.
