Primeramente, quiero decir que amo al fútbol; en mi opinión es "El Deporte más hermoso del mundo", frase que siempre repite el comentarista chileno _**Luis Omar Tapia**_; mi obsesión por el fútbol comenzó cuando mi madre me hizo ver el mundial de México 86'  en dónde pude ver jugar al mítico Diego Maradona y desde ese instante no existió otro deporte al cual admirar. Toda mi vida he considerado que el fútbol es como la vida misma, ya que se gana, se pierde y a veces se empata y ese pensamiento lo obtuve viendo tres mundiales seguidos, primero en Mexico 86 con la victoria de la Argentina de Diego, después en Italia 90 con la derrota de la Argentina de Diego y por último en USA 94 con lo que llamo "El Final de Maradona"; justamente esos dos últimos mundiales me enseñaron que el fútbol tenía un lado turbio, malo, oscuro y me tomó un tiempo poder desligar lamentables hechos del deporte y darle una cara y nombre al verdadero mal; tiempo después me di cuenta de que personalidades que están para ayudar al fútbol, en realidad usan al deporte para el beneficio propio.

First of all, I want to say that I love football; in my opinion it is "The most beautiful sport in the world", a phrase always repeated by the Chilean commentator _**Luis Omar Tapia**_; my obsession for football began when my mother made me watch the World Cup in Mexico 86' where I could see the legendary Diego Maradona play and from that moment on there was no other sport to admire. A tan pocos días del comienzo de un nuevo mundial, Netflix estrena una docuserie que resume todo lo que se ha convertido la FIFA desde el mandato, primero de _**João Havelange**_, quien fue presidente de la organización más importante de fútbol en el mundo entre los años 1974-1998, y de _**Sepp Blatter**_ quien es el que ha estado bajo la mirada de todo el mundo por todos los actos de corrupción que se han descubierto desde el 2000 en adelante. Siempre he creído que en FIFA como organización ha creado un mundo aparte, poderoso, inquebrantable y sin importar cuál duro golpe puede recibir, siempre habrá un momento para levantarse, mirar a quien sea a los ojos, sonreír y seguir adelante; justamente eso es lo que se percibe en un excelente documental compuesto por cuatro episodios donde demuestra la gravedad de diferentes asuntos internos de esa organización y mostrando poco los otros graves problemas que crean con sus decisiones.

Just a few days before the start of a new World Cup, Netflix premieres a docuseries that summarizes everything that FIFA has become since the mandate, first of _**João Havelange**_, who was president of the most important soccer organization in the world between 1974-1998, and of _**Sepp Blatter**_ who is the one who has been under the gaze of the whole world for all the acts of corruption that have been discovered from 2000 onwards. I have always believed that FIFA as an organization has created a world apart, powerful, unbreakable and no matter what hard blow it may receive, there will always be a moment to get up, look anyone in the eye, smile and move on; just that is what is perceived in an excellent documentary composed of four episodes where it shows the seriousness of different internal issues of that organization and showing little of the other serious problems they create with their decisions.

Nunca he admirado a la FIFA como a ningún ente que este bajo el ala de esta organización; mi opinión es que todo directivo de fútbol en algún momento trae problemas a un gran deporte y a este más porque el fútbol es un gran negocio; se que hay personas que comparan el pago de jugadores de la NBA y MLB con jugadores de las importantes ligas de fútbol en el mundo, pero al momento de comparar el mundial de ese deporte con otro evento futbolístico, hay que decir que no existe comparación y es que imagina crear una gran emoción por un mes en dónde ocurre una buena cantidad de encuentros y que no importa cuál selección juegue, seguramente atraerá a un público dispuesto que no querrá perderse absolutamente nada; eso es lo que crea el fútbol en la afición y justamente eso es lo que explota, negocia, vende y se enriquece FIFA.

Mi opinión sobre este documental a pesar de que es un resumen de diferentes cosas tanto el origen de la organización, creo que más que nada se enfoca en relatar la evolución de FIFA gracias a la llegada de _**Havelange**_ y _**Blatter**_, todo esto el cual demuestra como un acumulado de malas decisiones son tapadas por un deporte; comparar diferentes hechos en el deporte mundial, más que nada en la organización de eventos deportivos que sirven de publicidad a malos gobiernos, creo que es lo que lamentablemente marcarán a FIFA como a otras importantes organizaciones; esto me pareció excelente porque personalmente yo vi mi primer mundial en el 86' y por supuesto que de niño nunca percibí todo lo que sucedía y mucho menos pensaba en saber que sucedió en el pasado y gracias a este documental tengo la sensación o mejor dicho, verificación de lo mal que siempre ha estado está organización de fútbol.

I have never admired FIFA or any entity that is under the wing of this organization; my opinion is that every soccer manager at some point brings problems to a great sport and to this one even more because soccer is a big business; I know that there are people who compare the payment of NBA and MLB players with players of the important soccer leagues in the world, but when comparing the World Cup of that sport with another soccer event, it must be said that there is no comparison and imagine creating a great excitement for a month where a good number of matches take place and that no matter which team plays, it will surely attract a willing public that will not want to miss anything at all; that is what soccer creates in the fans and that is precisely what FIFA exploits, negotiates, sells and enriches itself.

My opinion about this documentary, even though it is a summary of different things, both the origin of the organization, I think it focuses more than anything on the evolution of FIFA thanks to the arrival of _**Havelange**_ and _**Blatter**_, all of which shows how an accumulation of bad decisions are covered by a sport; comparing different facts in world sport, especially in the organization of sporting events that serve as publicity for bad governments, I think it is what unfortunately will mark FIFA as other important organizations; I thought this was excellent because personally I saw my first World Cup in 86' and of course as a child I never perceived everything that happened and much less thought about knowing what happened in the past and thanks to this documentary I have the feeling or better said, verification of how bad this soccer organization has always been.

Los relatos de los entrevistados lo divido en quien cuenta la verdad, quien defiende a los culpables, en quienes buscan hacerse ver cómo víctimas y a quienes tratan de hacer ver que todo lo que hicieron fue por y para el fútbol; con esto es inevitable ver mucha mentira e hipocresía por parte de muchas personas que participaron en este entramado por años y que los convirtió en millonarios, personalidades poderosas los cuales los hicieron sentir como dioses, intocables; esas personas junto con sus relatos y a pesar de aborrecer a cada uno de ellos, son lo que le da en parte vitalidad al documental aunque al momento de quienes deben relatar la verdad tanto al hacer justicia como al notificarla es lo que más me ha gustado porque lo mejor es cuando se debe hacer denuncia de las cosas que suceden en la actualidad y lamento que sea poco porque está producción se enfoca en _**Blatter**_, en todo el gran tiempo que estuvo en FIFA y no tanto en lo que debe enfrentar _**Gianni Infantino**_ quien es el actual presidente de FIFA.

No puedo decir que **FIFA Uncovered** en sus cuatro episodios demuestre lo malo del fútbol; esto lo digo con certeza porque el fútbol como deporte no tiene nada malo y es que la mancha que se le quiere imponer al fútbol es parte de las personas que se hacen llamar dueños de este hermoso deporte; podemos decir que ayudaron a promocionar al fútbol, que derriban barreras, que atraen a masas sin importar raza, género y religión, pero la realidad es que ellos no hacen eso porque el deporte en sí junto a las estrellas, los futbolistas son los que hacen el verdadero trabajo de crear ilusión de quién es testigo de cada encuentro que existe, en cambio, estos directivos solamente se enriquecen del talento de otros, no les importa el deporte, no les importa la evolución del deporte y ni siquiera apoyan a sus propios confederaciones, no abogan por qué sus selecciones sean mejores y eso es lamentable, triste, crea molestias, enojo y eso es lo que experimente al ver este documental y que le resta emoción al torneo; siendo sincero, tengo una sensación igual a la que tuve con el pasado mundial en Rusia, disfrute poco de los juegos y eso porque se sintió falso y creo que en esta oportunidad será igual, de igual manera, espero que las selecciones favoritas o no hagan un gran papel, que entretengan al aficionado, que hagan disfrutar al mundo, ya que ellos son las verdaderas estrellas.

I can't say that **FIFA Uncovered** in its four episodes shows what is wrong with soccer; I say this with certainty because soccer as a sport has nothing wrong with it and the stain they want to impose on soccer is part of the people who call themselves owners of this beautiful sport; we can say that they helped to promote soccer, that they break down barriers, that they attract masses regardless of race, gender and religion, but the reality is that they do not do that because the sport itself along with the stars, the players are the ones who do the real work of creating illusion of who is a witness of each meeting that exists, instead, they do not care about the sport, they do not care about the evolution of the sport and they do not even support their own confederations, they do not advocate for their national teams to be better and that is unfortunate, sad, it creates discomfort, anger and that is what I experienced when watching this documentary and that takes away the excitement of the tournament; To be honest, I have the same feeling as I had with the last World Cup in Russia, I enjoyed the games very little and that is because it felt false and I think this time it will be the same, in the same way, I hope that the favorite teams or not do a great role, that they entertain the fans, that they make the world enjoy, because they are the real stars.
