Etapas o fases de aprendizaje de la matemática: Concreto, pictórico y abstracto  

las etapas del aprendizaje de las  matemáticas son de vital importancia para el desarrollo de los niños , estas etapas le brinda la oportunidad de construir gradualmente su comprensión de los conceptos matemáticos, a través de experiencias concretas , visual y abstracta, a medida que los niños avanzan en su aprendizaje se embarcan en la etapa concreta, donde utilizan manipulativos y objetos tangibles para explorar y comprender conceptos matemáticos básicos  ,después pasan a la etapa pictórica donde comienza a representar visualmente los problemas matemáticos utilizando dibujos o imágenes, finalmente llegan la etapa abstracta donde son capaces de comprender y resolver problemas matemáticos utilizando símbolos de operaciones

The stages of mathematics learning are of vital importance for the development of children, these stages provide the opportunity to gradually build their understanding of mathematical concepts, through concrete, visual and abstract experiences, as children advance in their learning they embark on the concrete stage, where they use manipulatives and tangible objects to explore and understand basic mathematical concepts, then move on to the pictorial stage where they begin to visually represent mathematical problems using drawings or images, finally they reach the abstract stage where they are able to understand and solve mathematical problems using symbols of operations.

Muy buen post, estimada @nanyuris.  Realmente esta es una de las cosas que a muchos niños dentro de espectro, entre ellos los míos, se les hace cuesta arriba y por experiencia se que a través del conteo de los  objetos o material concreto, se les hace más sencillo visualizar los conceptos y relacionar el número con la cantidad que este representa.
Gracias por tu contribución,  siempre acertada.

La manera en como planteas la educación para ellos es estupenda, creo que manipulando las piezas en forma de rompecabezas  los ayuda a visualizar mejor el como pueden hacer sus cuentas.

De hecho ese método es usado en la cienciologia, en donde se utilizan unos tacos de madera para representar las situaciones, es algo que aprendi mientras trabaje para ellos un par de años (nos daban ese entrenamiento que era obligatorio para trabajar en la organización).

Estupendo trabajo, y muy satisfactorio el ver como ellos aprenden.
