Pau Dones was a man who, in his last days, gave several simple and beautiful messages about the value of life and happiness, that during some interviews I was able to witness on the internet. I haven't researched much about the last songs that the band Jarabe de palo released before the death of their vocalist, this song I know thanks to my mother, who used to play it during her forties. 


The song at first I found it a bit annoying, but then I realized the beautiful message it conveyed through its lyrics. The style of the song is something that I can't define, it seems a mixture of several things that turned out well, in its original version there are violins, charangos, it seems something more Latin, but well, I don't know.


Regarding the lyrics, the song is a dedication of gratitude and brotherly love towards a great friend, a friend who is there in good times and bad, a person who has been a support for many years and who has always been willing to help, to contribute and to give the best of himself to make his friend feel better. The magnanimity of this faithful friend is so great that he has been a person who has given more than what has been asked of him, provoking in his companion a feeling of eternal gratitude, which makes them recognize each other as indispensable and important beings in each other's lives. 

Friendship is something very beautiful, to have a person in your life that gives you affection and support in every situation is something invaluable, something that not everyone is fortunate enough to have. The fact that a person who is not your blood family becomes something equally or more important than that, is a blessing. Friendships are things that can vary, obviously not everyone is our friend, and it takes years and trials to verify who is our true friend. In the world there is a lot of selfishness, thoughtlessness and inconsistency, and not all the time we have the fortune to coincide with a good friendship, but if you get to the end of your life with only one good friend, then you can consider yourself the luckiest person on the planet.

> Pau Dones fue un hombre que, en sus últimos días, dio varios mensajes sencillos y hermosos sobre el valor de la vida y la felicidad, eso durante algunas entrevistas que pude presenciar en internet. No he investigado mucho sobre los últimos temas que la banda Jarabe de palo lanzó antes de la muerte de su vocalista, esta canción la conozco gracias a mi madre, quien solía reproducirla durante la época de la cuarentena. 


> La canción al principio me pareció un poco fastidiosa, pero luego me di cuenta del bello mensaje que transmitía a través de su letra. El estilo de la canción es algo que no logro definir, parece una mezcla de varias cosas que resultó salir bien, en su versión original hay violines, charangos, parece algo más latino, pero bueno, no lo sé.


> Con respecto a la letra, la canción es una dedicación de agradecimiento y amor fraternal hacia un gran amigo, un amigo que está en las buenas y en las malas, una persona que ha sido un apoyo por largos años y que siempre ha estado dispuesta a ayudar, a aportar y a dar lo mejor de si para hacer sentir mejor a su amigo. La magnanimidad de este amigo fiel es tan grande, que ha sido una persona que ha dado más de lo que le han pedido, provocando en su compañero una sensación de deudo y gratitud eterna, lo que hace que se reconozcan como seres indispensables e importantes en la vida del otro. 

> La amistad es algo muy bello, tener una persona en tu vida que te brinde afecto y apoyo en toda situación es algo invaluable, algo que no todos tienen la fortuna de tener. El hecho de que una persona que no es tu familia sanguínea se vuelva algo igual o más importante que eso, es una bendición. Las amistades son cosas que pueden variar, obviamente no todos son nuestros amigos, y se necesitan años y pruebas para verificar quien es nuestro verdadero amigo. En el mundo hay mucho egoísmo, inconsciencia e inconsistencia, y no todo el tiempo tenemos la fortuna de coincidir con una buena amistad, pero si llegas al final de tu vida con tan solo un buen amigo, entonces puedes considerate la persona más afortunada del planeta.
