This is a chain about furious gaming thought: theory and praxis. I believe video games will soon emerge as a culturally significant art form through their first Golden Age. Games are fun, but they can also be serious art and simulations of profound strategic depth. Future civilizations may have games as their principle culture-preserving form of art and may be built on strategies whose designers, whether sapient organisms or advanced AI, will have discovered, developed, and tested these strategies in gaming simulation environments.
