I've posted some things on Medium over maybe the last year or so. The subjects have differed, from posts about my artwork, to tech-related things, and things about my personal life.

But even with the most popular subjects, I've gotten  almost no results from it, and I mean hardly even a view. I know there are popular blogs on Medium, but maybe their traffic came from somewhere else. At any rate, trying to build an audience on Medium seems really tough.

But one advantage I think Steem has is that on almost everything I've posted, I've gotten some sort of interaction, whether it's an upvote, or a comment. So, that's one thing that makes Steemit appeal to me over Medium. 

So I'm not sure what this blog will ultimately be about, though all I've posted until now has been art. However, I'm thinking I may want to talk about some things I've observed about life, interesting  thoughts,  and similar things. 

BTW, I'm just a guy with a day job, but I've been making music for over a decade, and I've recently come back to art over the last couple of years after having not been involved with that since I was in my teens.

Anyway, whenever I want to put some thoughts down, I think this may be a far better option than Medium. Be sure to follow this blog if you're interested in art, possibly music, interesting things, posts about life, etc. Thanks for reading.
