Humility is a true understanding of reality. A true understanding of God, a true understanding of oneself, of other people, of life in general, a true understanding of the skills and reasons for personal success in life. Humility makes it possible to live in reality, and not in sweet illusions, which invariably lead to errors and disappointments.

Humility is the opposite of pride, self-confidence and self-belief: a person gains confidence in God and His Word, and loses false self-confidence in their abilities. A humble person gets rid of the "rush" based on their super professionalism or an active and forceful character. A humble person learns to "wait" for God's action, since he trusts less in himself than before.

Humility is the opposite of self-reliance and leads to the dependence of God, to prayer, to the expectation of God's action, leads to respect for the opinions of other people, leads him to seek the advice of wise people. Humility makes a person sensitive to the guidance and rebuke of other people. Humility makes a person soft in conversation and debate. Humility makes one capable of receiving instruction.

Humility is the love of God, which made it possible to love oneself, neighbor and the entire Divine Universe, the whole world of God. That is, humility dissolves in divine love. The highest form of humility is God's love for man.

God was so humble that he gave us this world with the hope that we would turn it into a garden of paradise. And we turn this world into a state of chaos and injustice. Through people's souls, demons inhabited this world, and then God came to help us. He humbled himself so much that he ascended to the Cross to destroy all evil in this world, to close the dark portals of human souls. This is how the Lord loved this world. He showed the highest form of humility, humbled himself before sinners, loving them to give them the opportunity of eternal life, to destroy sin in this world. Love itself is humility.

Often, the humility of divine love in our lives, true spiritual humility is replaced by false humility, when a person is manipulated and says that he must humble himself. Of course, a person who is in the spirit of divine love will see in his tyrant a genuine icon of God, a violated image and likeness of God. If you look at the tyrant with that look, he will change. And the fact that the tyrants do not change suggests that in us there is no love for our neighbor. And there is no love for God and love for yourself. False humility, the humility of manipulation, shows us that we do not love God, we do not trust Him, we do not love our neighbor and we do not love ourselves.

 Humility without love is a negative spiritual category. In this humility there is no love, only hate; humility of hate, satanic humility. That humility, which is said: "our mind is boiling, indignant and ready to fight in mortal combat." We are humble to some extent and look forward to destroying the tyrants who humiliate us.
