They require next to nothing in terms of on-chain complexity. The only thing about Voice that actually needs a block chain is the Voice tokens themselves. Voice could do everything it does on Bitcoin and an Omni token as laughable as that is. However, I would expect contrary to the FUD that they will eventually migrate to EOS's main net as per their media kit [3].

The author also mentions that "hate" is against ToS, so expect that to have the same freedom of expression issues we see on facebook, twitter, etc.

So basically it looks like Voice is going to be a centralized platform with crypto rewards and not a decentralized blockchain project like steem. Dan's operating theory appears to be that verified identities will attract applications and advertisers. Maybe that's true, but it doesn't make me excited to become a user.
