It's pretty rare in a lot of places that's why it was such a surprise to me but still really nice! I really want to improve my art and writing. They're simple things to do back make a world of a difference when you apply yourself to them. And thank you so much! Sometimes I do love to mix it up with make up but usually I'm bare faced. I can always appreciate how make up can really add to people features though. Beauty in all forms! Woah! This is an absolutely amazing photo and most definitely the mysterious building across the way in Kuching. I've been able to catch the sunset once since I've been here and the way the light hits the building is so stunning.

These days everyone has photo ID tags round their necks or pinned to their shirt and they just wander past security. You should Pencil Draw your own photo ID tag and see if it accidentally allows you entry into these beautiful gold buildings? Actually, on a less silly note, the way questions are asked could lead to different results, eg, "Can I go in that building?" resulting in "No", whereas a "I'd like to see in that building" may result in a "I know someone at the desk, just mention Kim sent you, and they'll show you around", and of course there's the brash American tourist "I want to go in that building" which may result in a 50/50 shot too, the "you don't get if you don't tell them what you want" principle coming into play. I've used a few techniques to see the view from the top of fully business occupied tall buildings/skyscrapers with no observation area.

Funny you say that I meet some foreign girls who asked me if the city was normally that quiet. And I just figured that being it was Monday everyone was back at work but now it kind of makes sense that it could also be the obnoxious heat haha. There are markets on the weekend but on a evening there are a lot of food stalls along the boardwalk and it is definitely a lot more lively.

I used to think I could handle the heat, until one day I couldn't. A few years back I rode 350K in two days. The first day had pouring rain, and the second day had intense 35-40C heat with high humidity. The ride was OK, however the next morning was another story. Passed out in the bathroom of a rather dangerous and supposedly "5 star" hotel.  Got up early in the morning, went to use the toilet, felt a bit nauseous and dropped like a rock into the bathtub, not one of my best moments. (woke up less than a minute later bleeding like crazy with rather sharp pain, luckily, it wasn't serious, just made a big mess) The bathroom looked like a scene out of a horror film. I now have a permanent scar to remind myself of the dangers of dehydration, combined with heat exhaustion.
