Hello friends, welcome to my blog, I love movies based on real events and although I am not one to watch war movies, this one in particular caught my attention because not only was it a true event, but it also has a cast of British actors They are some of the best in movies. Directed John Madden tells us about one of the most successful allied counter-espionage operations against the Germans in World War II. Inspired by the novel by Ben Macintyre, a novelist specializing in espionage novels. This film is full of suspense, drama and with a romantic touch that tells us how the fights to win the war are not only won on the battlefield but also with stratagems to make the enemy fall into traps that give an advantage to soldiers fighting on the battlefield.

Dirigida John Madden nos cuenta una de las operaciones más exitosas de contraespionaje de los aliados en contra de los alemanes en la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Inspirada en la novela de Ben Macintyre, un novelista especializado en novelas de espionajes. Esta cinta esta llena de suspenso, drama y con un toque romántico que nos narra como las luchas para ganar la guerra no solo se ganan en el campo de batalla sino también con estratagemas para hacer que el enemigo caiga en trampas que le den una ventaja a los soldados que combaten en el campo de batalla.

Al pasar tanto tiempo juntos nacerá entre dos miembros del equipo atracción romántica que es un imposible, pero no inusual en estos casos.

As I said at the beginning, sometimes reality is stranger than fiction and here is a palpable example of that, no one would have imagined that using a corpse, creating a life in service for it, would work and the best thing that would allow the allies to win Sicily with little resistance on the part of the Germans by making them believe that they would assault Greece. This film shows us how this group of men and women unknown to all, make a difference to help win wars, that there are battles that are not in the trenches, on the battlefields, that there are no shots or sneakers around them, but what they do, they can change the course of the war. I liked the film and the masterful performances, the little impossible love that is born giving the film a romantic touch, but without addressing it because first of all, duty and country come first. These men and women face personal difficulties, conflicts with their superiors, sacrifices and secrets to go unnoticed and be able to do their jobs.



>>Como dije al principio a veces la realidad supera la ficción y acá es un ejemplo palpable de eso, nadie hubiera imaginado que usar un cadáver, crearle una vida en servicio, fuera a dar resultado y lo mejor que permitiría a los aliados ganar Sicilia con poca resistencia por parte de los alemanes al hacerlos creer que asaltarían Grecia. Esta cinta nos muestra como este grupo de hombres y mujeres desconocidos para todos, hacen diferencia para ayudar a ganar las guerras, que existen batallas que no son en las trincheras, en los campos de batalla, que no hay tiros o bambas a su alrededor, pero lo que hacen, pueden cambiar el curso de la guerra. Me gusto la película y las actuaciones magistrales, el pequeño amor imposible que nace dándole un toque romántico a la cinta, pero sin abordar en ello porque ante todo primero esta el deber y el país. Estos hombres y mujeres se enfrentan dificultades personales, conflictos con su superiores, sacrificios y secretos para pasar desapercibidos y poder hacer su trabajo.

The world of espionage is lying and doing whatever it takes to achieve the objectives, here we see it and it is not often glamorous or action like we see in James Bond, but it is a lot of planning, creating and trying to deceive in favor of a objective. In the film everything is fluid and happens quickly, which I like, there are no action scenes here, but the emotion of the characters is felt in each section to achieve their plan as a result, this suspense is felt and that makes you feel screen slope. The negative is that sometimes the stories of some characters are not delved into in depth and the subplots are left as unfinished, that they digress a bit and the main objective is lost. I think it could have been much better, but despite this, what saves the film is a solid cast that takes you through an incredible story and, if you didn't know what happened, you would think it was a lie. I invite you to see it and give me your opinion.


>>El mundo del espionaje, es mentir y hacer lo que sea para lograr los objetivos, acá lo vemos y no es muchas veces glamoroso o de acción como vemos en James Bond, sino es mucho de planificar, crear y tratar de engañar a favor de un objetivo. En la cinta todo es fluido y pasa rápido, cosa que me gusta, acá no hay escenas de acción, pero se siente la emoción de los personajes en cada tramo para lograr que su plan de resultado, este suspenso se siente y eso hace que estes pendiente de la pantalla. Lo negativo es que a veces no se ahonda en profundidad en las historias de algunos personajes y las subtramas quedan como inconclusas, que se divaga un poco y se pierde el objetivo principal. Creo que pudo ser mucho mejor, pero a pesar de ello, lo que salva a la película son un elenco solido que te lleva por una historia increíble y que, sino supieras que paso, pensarías que fue mentira.  Te invito a verla y que me des tú opinión.
