I have recently seen a comment that heavily implied that personalized feeds are coming to steemit, which got me thinking about what I would like to see it do.

There are the obvious things, such as following individual users and tags, but I think we can do so much more with it.

Ideally some sort of machine learning algorithm, that is able to spot upvote patterns for the individual, as well as the tags and users they follow, and based on that, as well as the data the system has based on other people, determine what they can add to the feed.

I also think that there should be a random factor of some sort, to prevent the formation of filter bubbles, and increase the chance of surprise, discovery and delight.

What would you like to see?

Hi! This post has a Flesch-Kincaid grade level of 10.7 and reading ease of 68%. This puts the writing level on par with Michael Crichton and Mitt Romney.

@nenad-ristic , it sounds like you are describing steemstats.com . That was how I just found this article. I followed before and so today I just went to that site and put my user name in the left window pane and I can then see everybody's posts who I am following.
