In this post I publish a series of photos of a pine tree whose shape is unusual, or even we can say it is curious. It is strongly bent. One can wonder about the causes of this fact. This tree is located at “Avenida Costanera” in Antofagasta (Chile),  a path way along the see. This zone is very windy. Therefore we can suspect that the wind might be the cause of this shape. I do not know the precise cause(s) of this fact. However it is interesting to see this pine tree, that is the reason of these photos.

>En esta ocasión publico una serie de fotos de un pino que tiene una forma muy curiosa, está bastante doblado. Unos se pregunta cuál es la causa de ello. Este árbol está plantado en la avenida costanera de Antofagasta, que se encuentra en el borde costero de esta ciudad. Es un área con mucho viento, por lo que uno podría pensar que este pueda ser una de la causas de la curvatura del tronco de este pino. La razón concreta no la sé, pero se puede decir que su forma es bastante inusual. De ahí el hecho de haber captado estas imágenes.

The photos were taken while I was walking a long the “Avenida Costanera”,  using the camera of my cell phone a Samsung Galaxy S20. The edition was done in Gimp.
