Walking down the street, we trust that everyone will follow the traffic rules, trust friends, colleagues, and even strangers, such as the hairdresser in everyday life. Whether confidence can be developed and how to develop it successfully? Today, all over the world, but especially in Western culture, cities and metropolises, the role of active communication between peers is diminishing. In addition, the number of people living in fear of failure, rejection and non-acceptance is increasing. Research shows that people's ability to trust has a direct effect on subjective well-being in society as a whole - countries with higher levels of public confidence have shown that people's satisfaction with life is generally higher. ##### What is trust? Trust is the belief that the world and people are mostly good and the belief that I am good for this world. It is sufficient and reasonable openness to someone. The components of trust are openness, sincerity, honesty, the ability to keep promises, kindness, and respect. On the other hand, if there is distrust, then people are driven by various fears. Distrust is protecting oneself from a negative scenario that could hurt, and it goes hand in hand with disbelief in oneself, negative self-esteem, and other problems so prevalent in today's society. ” But how to overcome these fears and learn to trust? ##### You need to find the cause and focus on the positive. It is also important to find the right reasons for difficult confidence. This is most likely due to a traumatic past experience. After realizing this, it is definitely necessary to transform this experience by changing the scenario of the past - to strive for a stable, loving relationship based on trust and mutual trust. Positive experiences must definitely be highlighted. Almost everyone has had a stable, benevolent relationship in the past or present. These are the things to remember when faith in the good is lost and no one seems to be trusted. A lasting, stable, and sufficiently positive relationship, in the past or in the present, contributes to building and rebuilding trust. ##### Generalizations must be avoided. Finally, in order to learn to trust, it is recommended to avoid from generalizations and divisions in the world, such as "black/white" or "all men are equal". The ability to look at the world realistically affects trust most directly. We must assume that there will never be a guarantee of any relationship. They will be different and changeable, but in spite of everything, it is worth getting involved and enjoying. ##### Believe yourself. In order to increase and develop trust in fellow human beings, we must first start with self-belief. Only by trusting yourself and strengthening self-confidence, it is possible to take a step towards greater confidence. In addition, the foundations of trust are laid in childhood, so parents' trust in the child and the prevailing atmosphere of trust in the child's communication with adults play an important role. So if you ask me, if I make a list of the people who I trust, would I put my own name in? Then the answer is yes, I definitely put my name on the list. Thanks for reading. ![bloggingchallengepart03.0.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/neolife/4Jv7g4qq-bloggingchallenge-part-03.0.jpg)
