Why is Africa struggling with banking?

Hey Hive Crew,

Banking in Africa is still lagging behind 57% of Africans are unbanked there's still growth left in the system but when you look at the banking system and the general approach to banking it's reserved for those that already rich or moneyed people that have access to capital it's expensive therefore if you've got limited means it's difficult to access banking because Ledger fees still exist it's still very much branch LED banking so you'd have to go to destination to get to bank so if you live in very remote areas banking is not as accessible as it should be.
