Creating content on Hive is a challenge. You know it—you have to sit down for a set period of time and connect. Connect your ideas, your thoughts, and your ideals. This is the first time I’ve managed to write 31 consecutive posts in a single month.

Years ago, Lunaticanto launched a challenge about this, but back then I couldn’t complete it. Some of the reasons include the need for planning, time management, and an intrinsic connection with your Hive blog.

What I call “intrinsic connection” refers to understanding the ecosystem, the cultural diversity within each community, and your identity as a creator. These are things that might not be obvious at first glance, but over the years you come to understand them.

Once I accepted that reality, I knew what I wanted to write. I also wanted to create high-quality content. Quality is subjective—that’s a typical phrase—but it’s a vague notion lacking real foundation. If quality is entirely subjective, then it opposes value theory and even perception theory. So the game on Hive is simple: create something everyone can perceive, something useful and meaningful. The goal is for it to be visible, even through external search engines thanks to SEO positioning.

That last paragraph might have sounded technical, but it’s just one variable I considered. Above all, I focused on having fun. It’s been over 5 years since I started creating content—more than 4 of those on my Hive blog. This has allowed me to know myself better. The biggest obstacle someone faces in creating daily content on Hive is not knowing themselves and not enjoying the process. Some force themselves to do it, and we all know the reason: to maximize rewards.

Having fun is important. It helps relieve stress and lets you focus more on personal benefits—on what it gives you. After all, this is a hobby that also has an extra benefit: monetization.

I didn’t focus on rewards, updates, or any indicators that emerged during the month. All that amused me—I laughed at each new change. Often, I was pleasantly surprised by the high level of engagement and feedback on my posts.

What did I do to achieve my goal? First, I used trial and error. It sounds like the scientific method, but I just tested my hypothesis and experimented in the previous months. I realized I couldn’t complete the 31 days, and my conclusion was: too much community switching.

It makes sense—writing in different communities every day broadens your interaction radius. If you write in a different community each day, you’ll burn out. This happens due to the high content rotation and interaction demands. Plus, we all have real lives to attend to. I’m young, as you can imagine—I also have responsibilities and other hobbies.

With that in mind, I decided to write in my favorite communities, exploring a niche I’ve always loved: anime. I chose to write in The Anime Realm—a base community. I really enjoy manhwas; it’s something I wanted to write about but had doubts. I wasn’t sure if it would be well received or attract internal readers. Fortunately, those doubts faded. I had a great time throughout the month.

Publishing in Worldmappin is a priority for me. The posts are hard to make, but I decided to post there once a week. I want to showcase all the places I’ve traveled. The truth is, I focus on showing the beauty of each location. I want to have a Hive blog that documents my travels and the places I’ve explored. A bank of images and unforgettable memories—something I can always go back and read. I also continued writing food reviews in Foodies Bee Hive. Most of my activity was concentrated in these communities.

Occasionally, I posted in Cinnamon Cup Coffee, Hive Book Club, Liketu, Motherhood, and Movies & TV Shows. I planned all my content by day, community, niche, tags, and publication times. I was a little affected by not posting in Movies, but I haven’t watched many films or series lately.

The hardest part of writing 31 days on Hive is time management. It’s complex, but it mainly comes down to organizing your schedule. My 31 posts in May on Hive are full of stories, my interests, and my personal desires. I published them at different times, balancing work, study, travel, recreation, and gym training.

If I had to recommend something to another creator, it would be: show what you love, don’t be static, and be bold. Boldness is vital—monotony and comfort zones don’t help. On Hive, we love creativity. After all, doubt kills dreams. Don’t live with doubt. In the end, progress is only possible when change happens.

#

Is it difficult? Yes, it is. But if you want to create high-quality content, don’t force yourself. Don’t suppress your interests. Fun is the foundation of everything. If you force yourself to write daily, it won’t work. You have to do it freely.

#

You also can’t achieve this by writing in the same community every day—it would become boring. The best approach is to write in four or five communities per week. That’s what I did, and I really enjoyed it.
