### Launched a backup STEEM RPC node - **`rpc.steemliberator.com:8090`**
Hey there. The main STEEM RPC node is having issues, and thus, @minnowbooster, @minnowsupport, @banjo, and many others are all experiencing technical difficulties related to the STEEM blockchain issues today. Many of these services rely on having a stable STEEM RPC node available.

# Well, I have gone ahead and enabled my own STEEM RPC node that can be used by anyone to work around the current issues the network is experiencing.

### Directions
If you use something like `radiator`, the fix is simple. Instead of creating the **`Radiator::Api`** object using **`Radiator::Api.new`**, you should use, **`Radiator::Api.new(url: 'http://rpc.steemliberator.com:8090/')`**

You should do the same for the **`Radiator::Transaction`** object. Eg:  **`Radiator::Transaction.new(url: 'http://rpc.steemliberator.com:8090/')`**

You can also access it via a websocket using **`ws://rpc.steemliberator.com:8090`**
#### Special instructions for using eSteem
- Open esteem
- Go to settings
- Scroll to the bottom and find Server
- Input ws://rpc.steemliberator.com

### Notes
This particular node has been made public in haste due to the mass network wide issues and crippling of bot services. I will be setting up a full-time RPC node later, but if you NEED to get working today you can use this one.
