**Goals:** Our goal is to persuade scientists to use this kind of computations in their research and to assist them in preparing BOINC applications. We hope that scientific applications from various fields will be attractive to many current and future BOINC community volunteers and this will allow us to accumulate enough computing resources to achieve significant (unachievable otherwise) results. 
We are developing different algorithms for the solution of discrete global optimization problem arising in their research.

**Is the project backed by a company?**
Project server is located at university computer center. However, we don’t have assigned admins to lookup after it. University pays for the electricity.

Yes. Results obtained with the current application are published in scientific article (published online in Journal of Supercomputing). These results can be verified using algorithms described in the article.
