Blue Tongue Lizard

We have a beautiful blue tongue lizard living in the yard at our house. We don't get to see him or her often but when we do it usually gives us a bit of a fright as they can resemble a large snake which can be dangerous around these part, Luckily for us the blue tongue lizard is harmless.

They move around quite slowly and have an unusual looking body and small legs.

It was hard to get a decent photo of the blue tongue, as it is in and out often and very quickly.

Besides being beautiful, it is a huge lizard, so as not to harm them, it is better to scare away lizards with natural methods.
