<div class=text-justify>My journey across the ecosystem now approach five years I believe and I feel that it is taking a new twist as I re-engage more time and effort to build my account once again from an engagement perspective. Throughout my journey, I have learned from many users and from the tokenomics of many projects that projects that do not build and create value become unsustainable. While this ultimately is decided by external forces of supply and demand while the market is built, the communities of users that engage are the key accountable of this at these early stages.<p>
An example of this learning experience was early on when I had started on Steem and after investing funds to purchase tokens and power it all up, I would upvote my posts. I had the thought that I had capitalized my stake in the ecosystem and therefore deserved to benefit from it. It took me some time and some great conversations onchain from users to realize that the approach I was taking was more extracting value rather than creating it. Therefore, for about 3-4 years now I have not given myself an upvote.
The most recent adjustments I am making come from more conversations I have recently had. Given my stepping away for a while and reducing my engagement, I start to lease my stake for a return. I felt it was a good way to continue to accumulate and build my account while I remained on the sidelines. However, I was told to consider that not everyone uses that delegation in the best way to creat value in the ecosystem. In fact, there could be cases of abuse that are only detrimental to the Blockchain.
This has gotten me to evaluate and start adjusting my delegations and my whole approach. Since this is all happening at the same time that I am looking for ways to re-engage, I have been looking to also start curating myself once again. I have taken some time to get back to researching the great curating communities we already have. I will likely start moving my stake to those instead of my leases although I will take a more careful approach with them in the future.
It may take some time to make all these changes but I am looking forward to engaging once again given the opportunities it may bring to add value to the ecosystem. I believe that my knowledge and stake can bring benefits over the long term here. I also believe it could be a place where others can share and build communities in a decentralized way for the benefit of all. I am looking forward to the continued development and growth here and once again engaging to be a part of it.</div>
