<div class=text-justify>While prices have not been very positive this week, a lot of positive and optimistic things continue to happen in the ecosystem. I think we will be getting more information in the coming days but various Dapps and projects continue to have their fundraising with great results. This demonstrates the interest and attention that the ecosystem is gathering. As these projects continue to bring the liquidity and price discovery into the system, it will result in improved development and more engagement with the community has more options are given for users to earn tokens. While users may be small accounts from a Steem Power perspective, they can become big influencers in these Dapp communities via tokenized stakes which enpowers us to do more!<p>

The Global Block Builders (GBB) is happening in Austin, Texas this week so I will be excited to see what discussions and projects come from there as there seems to be a number of Steemians involved.  We have already seen that @steemonboarding has already done their soft launch of their [website](steemonboarding.com) and I cannot be more excited as the continued growth in websites and communities to assist new users in their Steem journeys will create value for all of us and the ecosystem. The site is still under construction but the starter videos are already up in a couple of different languages.  These video are a great way to learn a bit about the ecosystem and get started! I congratulate the team for the launch and look forward for its continued development!

@thecryptohoarder presented [his story](https://busy.org/@thecryptohoarder/from-zero-to-usd15-000-and-back-to-zero) about his great luck getting into the market and buying bitcoin in May 2017 below $2,000!  His rags to riches story quickly turned as overconfidence got to him as he started to diversify into other coins in the search of the infamous Lambo.  He even quit his job in search of using his assets to sustain his needs.  Instead, he could never let go and held all the way down and eventually consolidated back into bitcoin and got involved with BitMex and leveraged trading which did not turn out very well as he lost it all!  However, he sees the experience as one of learning and intends to come back and start a new journey on Steem and share his experiences and knowledge with the community.

@authorjoeholt shared a great and inspiring [introduction](https://busy.org/@authorjoeholt/author-joe-holt-introduce-yourself-post) as he shared how his early adversity as an orphan and even more challenges as he enlisted in the military to need to retire due to a medical reasons has not stopped him from finding his calling as an author and content creator.  He has now published nine books and now does live stream and podcast interviews around life, cryptocurrencies, and world events.  It seems that Steem is a natural extension as he seems to have gotten a great following on other social networks as well!

@gordonmeyer comes to the Steem blockchain with 20 years of experience in advertising and marketing in various disruptive companies.  He has a course called Blockchain for Business where he has written various posts but [introduces himself](https://busy.org/@gordonmeyer/gordon-meyer-introduction-hi-steemit) with his first post on a blockchain!  He worked in the past with various AR and VR projects which has brought him to explore blockchain and its disruptive technology. I look forward to seeing what insights he can provide to the community through engagement!

@ccssonsworkshop is a community focused on wood- and metal-working for DIY projects and creative building.  They have [introduced themselves](https://busy.org/@ccssonsworkshop/introduction-post-ccs-and-sons-workshop) with a video trailer of their work.  They are working on sharing a number of tutorials and videos to entertain and teach how make some cool items in a fun environment.  They have been active on other social media sites including You Tube which they will share as they become part of the community.

@rhodamazing is a young teacher from the Philippines that recently [joined](https://busy.org/@rhodamazing/excited-self-joining-steemit-my-first-of-many-post) the community and share her story as a sponsored student of a humanitarian organization years ago.  With that support, she was able to get an education and development to become herself a leader in helping other students in need of learning how to read.  She enjoys traveling and music and hopes to share positive vibes with Steem community!

I hope this to be an evolving process to the benefit of the community so please continue providing feedback to support these and all the new users coming to the platform.  I am looking forward to more new users coming and engaging with the community to solidify the social aspect of the #STEEM blockchain.
