<div class=text-justify>The weeks are getting better as work continues to stabilize and I start to get some time back to remain up to date on my Steem feed.  However, being honest, I am starting to feel some fatigue with what I am doing around the ecosystem.  I feel that I am not learning as much as when I first started when everything I would read was so new to me.  I think my engagement has sacrificed the time I spend researching and learning about projects both inside and outside the ecosystem. I survived my tax season with enough left often to bring some light to my cryptocurrency portfolio.  However, I have not had the time to really determine how to allocate it by reviewing metrics and roadmaps of the many projects I have or have been released in the last couple of months when I held back adding to positions. I may take some time to focus on that but include the community in that process.<p>

One initiative I will not slowdown on is my continuous support of curating the #introduceyourself posts on a weekly basis. Now that I am working in conjunction with the @ocd curation team, I feel an even greater responsibility to share these new users and their experiences with the community. Getting off to a great start here is important to improving engagement and retention. If we can get new users quickly interwoven into a community or various, their experience will be more value creating than if they are left alone to discover the ecosystem. This will build the foundation of our future communities that will engage and create value!

***One announcement I want to make is that since being part of the @ocd and @ocdb projects, I have not tried to use the bid bot.  However, I want to give it a try with today’s post.  Therefore, if you are interested in some curation rewards this will be a post to get some on!***

@thecryptohoarder presented [his story](https://busy.org/@thecryptohoarder/from-zero-to-usd15-000-and-back-to-zero) about his great luck getting into the market and buying bitcoin in May 2017 below $2,000!  His rags to riches story quickly turned as overconfidence got to him as he started to diversify into other coins in the search of the infamous Lambo.  He even quit his job in search of using his assets to sustain his needs.  Instead, he could never let go and held all the way down and eventually consolidated back into bitcoin and got involved with BitMex and leveraged trading which did not turn out very well as he lost it all!  However, he sees the experience as one of learning and intends to come back and start a new journey on Steem and share his experiences and knowledge with the community.

@foxcauldry was recently in a blockchain startup that ultimately pulled back from its project due to the bear market and regulatory uncertainty.  After taken a career break, the focus has been on some artistic and illustrative work as well as [starting](https://busy.org/@foxcauldry/artist-illustrator-artist-illustrator-encourager-writer-wanna-be-surfer-deep-thinker-i-m-new-to-steemit) here on Steem!  She is passionate about the Harry Potter world including the upcoming mobile game that is currently in the registration process.  Intrigued with social media, she is venturing to create content for Steem as she has not enjoyed the centralized platforms in terms of user engagement.

@qwerrie is a Russian photographer who [introduced himself](https://busy.org/@qwerrie/intro-post) to the community as a passionate artist that enjoys Radiohead.  He has run and maintain a site for the fanbase of said band in Russia since 2000!  Although he feels that writing is not his strength, he loves to share his photography and editing skills in his work.  He looks forward to his journey he to share his work, explore the world, and meet new people.

@mikearound has [shared](https://busy.org/@mikearound/mikearound-is-joining-steemit-stories-from-the-path-less-traveled) his adventure of biking around the world and how it ultimately brought him to our community!  After meeting another Steemian while biking around Asia, he immediately visited the platform and related to the community sharing experience given the ones he was having at the moment.  He left his career behind as an engineer to pursue his passions of travel and biking!  I am very inspired by his words about the world be much better than what we see on media and hope to experience it through his own eyes as he intends to share his stories from the road.

@edwintamarez comes to us from the Dominican Republic and [introduced](https://busy.org/@edwintamarez/presentacion-mi-primer-post) his versatility to the community in a Spanish post that share his passion for music, web design and computer troubleshooting.  He has a large family that keeps him busy in addition to all of what he does.  He summarizes it all up by saying that he enjoys “creating, inventing and designing.”  He shows some of his work on his post and talks about how he enjoys making videos as well as creating musical arrangements.

@steemalicious recently joined the platform and made her [introduction post](https://busy.org/@steemalicious/ready-for-a-new-experience-steemit-here-i-come-my-introduction-post) after her first post earlier in the week.  She is from Holland but has taken her time to travel across Europe.  Despite having multiple jobs over the last year, she has settled on focusing on health and fitness.  This brings her to Steem as her experience building website and finding a community passionate about health and fitness to write about it and recipes has attracted her. She has also become interested in the @actifit app and its potential to provide crypto for working out!

I hope this to be an evolving process to the benefit of the community so please continue providing feedback to support these and all the new users coming to the platform.  I am looking forward to more new users coming and engaging with the community to solidify the social aspect of the #STEEM blockchain.
