<div class=text-justify>Opportunities are never easy to identify when in front of you given that they normally come with challenges and adversity in order to fully take advantage of them. This is what I have been feeling the last couple of days as the market continues to somewhat punish Steem for the lack of volume and liquidity it currently has. It seems that buyers have started to dry out while sellers continue to unload from their powerdowns. Despite the trend in price, the ecosystem continues to see development on many fronts which is a conundrum in my perspective. It feels as if an already undervalued protocol, is becoming more so.<p>

As seen in the past, with lower prices comes lower engagement in an activity across the platform which is unfortunate because it is a missed opportunity to accumulate more Steem while less participants compete for the attention. I have certainly seen the benefit as my payouts have been increasing and I can assure you that it is not due to any changes in my approach nor in the quality of my content. Consistency and being present continue to be the best approach and growing across the platform; even through these times of lower prices. I will be going into the weekend with funds ready to swoop in and grab a bunch of Steem to continue my journey here in the ecosystem.

Curating the introduction post has become somewhat more difficult over the last two weeks as the amount and the quality of the tag has been lower than usual. Many are doing a great job to bring Steem to the attention of new users but are not properly onboarding them. This results in lost opportunities for the users to pick up momentum in achieving good results early on which in itself could motivate them to remain actively engaged. While I am encouraged to see more users joining via communities and Dapps, we need to work together as a community to point these users in the right direction on how to get off to a good start here. Please help me in showing them great onboarding communities like @steemonboarding and @steemsavvy!

@philnews.xyz has [joined Steem](https://busy.org/@philnews.xyz/ofw-turns-professional-blogger-and-cryptocurrency-enthusiast) to bring his professional blog to the ecosystem and try to build a strong community from the Philippines here.  They have been combating the centralized media sources and other setbacks in trying to grow the site but hopes that coming here can help expand the readership of their content.  His focus here will be on positive blogging for the local community.

@sunja-music was a new type of [introduction](https://busy.org/@sunja-music/introducing-ourselves-to-you-amazing-steemians-with-our-debut-song-and-some-words) as they submitted a new song for the community to enjoy.  They are passionate about decentralization and the health of our Earth which has led them to ask us for open minds and hearts to feel the music dedicated to the Sun.  They want us to “question authority” as part of their freeing of the minds and being responsible for our environment. This was surely a unique way to come on to platform and look forward to what more content they can bring for our enjoyment.

@crazyy had a unique [introduction](https://busy.org/@crazyy/best-photo-compilation-for-you-in-order-to-introduce-myself) as he presented a great compilation of photographs to demonstrate his experiences and passions as he has traveled the world and enjoys the experiences through the hiking adventure.  He seeks to widen his horizons as he searches to improving his consideration for his work across social media.  He choses Steem over traditional social media as the motivations entail more engagement here.

@sanjeev021 has been around a while but did not get active until he was [introduced](https://busy.org/@sanjeev021/introduceyourself-i-am-an-active-researcher-gamer-poet-and-cryptotrader) to the blockchain games recently gaining traction in the ecosystem.  He is a professional chemist (smart!) in India and engages on Steem in his downtime with the gaming Dapps.  He never gave his proper introduction but here it is; better late than never!  He hopes to expand his reach from other social media platforms here as well.

I hope this to be an evolving process to the benefit of the community so please continue providing feedback to support these and all the new users coming to the platform.  I am looking forward to more new users coming and engaging with the community to solidify the social aspect of the #STEEM blockchain.
