Trying to double my money with Polycub in 60 days.

It could be a terrible plan. It could make me some profit but it's hard to know if I am right.

*The plan itself is simple.* 
*Take some money.* 
*Double it.*
**Take the profit.**


I've already made a proper investment into Polycub form the airdrop and other funds so this is purely out of my own stupidity. Or insanity. Or genius. Whatever way you want to look at it.

<h3>The money.</h3>

I have some funds sitting in DEC on splinterlands to earn the SPS airdrop but this is too good an opportunity to miss.

The price of this asset has dropped a lot and as the airdrop comes nearer to the end will probably creep back to it's peg over time anyway.

So for this experiment i'll take 1,000,000 DEC that was sitting on my splinterlands account and move it onto BSC.

This will be swapped to cub and all of this will be counted at the most basic level of trade. It will lose about 1% in fees but we'll ignore them for the sake of simplicity.

So that 1M DEC is now CUB.
8,036 Worth $3,254

At the moment with current CUB and pCUB prices, the airdrop is almost 100% of your CUB stake over 60 days. Obviously these prices will change but there is a great chance to double your current investment over the next 60 days by staking CUB into the kingdom.

It's not quite one to one but when you look at the interest and restaking the airdrop with compounding at 60% APR it won't be far off.

So by buying $3,254 of CUB I am hoping to receive the almost the same in pCUB over the next 60 days. This is going to be an extra 25% on top of my current investment in CUB.

*Sorry @bitcoinflood, the truth is out there.*

So the plan is to take 25% of my pCUB airdrop every day and swap back to CUB to stake into the kingdom.

Over the course of the next 60 days I'm expecting to gain a total of 8,000 CUB from using the polycub website to move funds back to the CUB kingdom.

At the end of the 60 days I can them withdraw 8000 CUB from the kingdom and swap back to DEC. Leaving the CUB that I buy from today as a free double up on my original buy today than can be kept or sold.

Even if the price drops over that period I will still have more tokens than i started with in the CUB kingdom plus whatever amount of DEC that i can buy when I withdraw my extra 8,000 DEC at the end of the pCUB airdrop period.

If the rumors are to be believed then this is only going to be the first airdrop of many over the next few years and if that is the case then it's not likely that we will see the price of CUB at $0.40 for much longer. When the other defi degens catch a whiff of over 100% returns in 60 days. Plus crazy APR plus a chance to repeat every six months. I would expect to see the price closer to $10 than $1. IMO.

Then the other 75% of my airdrop will be getting staked to the xPolycub kingdom where it will sit for a long time to come.

That will be a post for another day one i figure out how exactly the tokens in there are gaining their value and are currently worth 2.85 times the current pCUB value. Not that i'm complaining of course. 

I'm just wondering how to make a plan for it.

So to summarize.

- Sell DEC.
- Buy CUB.
- Stake to kingdom.
- Claim pCUB.
- Sell 25% for more CUB.
- Stake 75% to Xpolycub.
- Compound and keep stacking.

Polygon isn't one that i had gone near before this. I did have some tokens but couldn't find many good options for defi.

Now with cub we have an easy to use site with a team that we believe in. It's always good to learn new things.

THe rental market was very good to me at the peak of the hype.

I was bringing in almost 150k per season at one stage. I miss those days.

I had bought up a lot of gold beta cards back in the early days and held them for a long time. They player very well in the rentals before chaos legion dropped and i  also sold all of my vouchers for dec the whole way along.

They give a lot more points towards sps than buying cards so i had been saving them up to get the maximum amount of sps possible in the airdrop.

Now i have to build it up all over again. I'm buying up more cards for rentals but it's slow going.

That's a great strategy, selling vouchers for dec for the airdrop! I also sell them, but for hive, since that's my main goal this year. Your strategy is better, but I squeeze many resources I would use otherwise to stay in line for my Hive goals this year.

Looking forward to seeing how you get on with this.

Please don't ignore the fees in your reports though. When I've copied similar strategies in the past all has looked good until I took the fees into account and then I saw I was making a loss.

Probably because I was moving too small amounts compare to the people's whose strategies I copied.

The consequence of that is I decided not to risk it this time.

I'm confident that i won't be making a loss as the fees are a very small fraction of the transactions here. Fees on matic are only a few cents and the numbers are big enough that the dollars on the trading side won't be a factor.

It's a valid point however and this strategy might not be for everyone. The most expensive part is getting the funds from hive engine to binance smart chain.

The bigger the move, the less it will cost you.

I'll be posting about plenty of times in the future.

I will also be holding on the the xpolycub for the long haul as they will just keep going up in value over time. Every time that a person takes the early harvest penalty we will all get a small share of that added to our tokens.

By the end of the 90 days they could be worth hundreds of dollars each.

Yes, you will need to withdraw to the matic network.

If your using metamask the address will be the same but you will need to add matic network manually to your wallet for it to show up properly and to connect to polycub.

It's a simple enough chain to work with and the fees are low so it could be worth doing a test transaction first to be safe. But it is straight forward and you won't have any trouble with it im sure.

We all like to think about getting richer but there are very few opportunities in life where we can actually do it. This seems like one of them and i don't want to let it pass me by.

I had some spare funds that weren't working for me and i don't like it.

The biggest thing that i've learned over the past couple of years in crypto is that your tokens should always be working for you.

I didn't trust any of the other defi sites on polygon so this was the perfect opportunity to get involved for practically no risk.

Even if the price crashes to 20c i'll still have all of that CUB sitting there. But i doubt it.

This looks like the first of many successes as the team moves cross chain.

It's intelligent if it works but the numbers look good on it at the moment.
With the plans form khal for the next few years it looks like a no brainer to stack as hard as possible with CUB and watch the money roll in with each expansion.

I'm buying as much as i can right now. Picked up 12k this week and another 1k yesterday.

My biggest problem at the moment is lack of liquid funds since most of them are already in cub or polycub.

I think that most people are chasing the yields in polycub at the moment and don't have the money to take advantage of these great prices.

I'm going moving funds around today and try to buy up even more.

If it's works, why change it.

Defi isn't too hard to get to grips with and especially with the cubfinance sites.

Buy cub, stake it and get free tokens. Then stake them and let the money build up.

Either way the value should flow back into LEO over time as all of these sites burn tokens with the transactions and will bring in new users so it's still a win by stacking leo and hive.

That has always looked like a winner to me as well.
