It's more like the opposite, we now have scientific proof why and how our universe was created. All scientific evidence leads to the big bang theory. &nbsp;Religions are just human made fiction. You have to place it into the right historical perspective to understand why so many people where fooled. The bible, koran, etc. where written in times we believed the earth was flat. Science was very primitive back then so it wasn't hard to make people believe such a bullshit story.</p>
<p>Religion is also a very powerful tool to control the masses because it's based on our emotions. By telling people lies about hell and heaven you can manipulate them easily because it makes them scared. And people that didn't agree with religions where called a witch and burned alive.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The pope acts like he's holy but he isn't, it's just a normal human being and sinner. Religious people are no saints, a lot of bad things have happened because of religions. Think about all those wars we have fight. If there was no Islam Isis wouldn't even exist right now.</p>
<p>And what's the point in giving people false hopes anyway? Don't pray but think and work for solutions to your problems instead. That's much better!</p>
